This is a CD version of a tape recording made on September 22nd
1969 (by persons unknown) of a US radio DJ playing a tape of some
early Glyn John’s mixes of Let It Be/Get Back tracks which
were issued to some US radio stations in mid to late 1969.
NOTE: There is NO SUCH THING as a "promo acetate" of
the "Get Back" album, and it WAS NOT issued to any
radio station anywhere.
This is a tape of Glyn Johns' reference acetate that made its way
to the US, where it was played on some "underground" FM
stations (the first being WKBW-FM in Buffalo, New York).
