NO THANX TO PAUL!!
Y'know alot of people often ask us.... how'd you come up with a name like No Thanx To Paul for your band. Well... WE DON'T REALLY KNOW!!!! SO STOP ASKING US THAT!! Ok, now having said that, Welcome to our shitty little No Thanx to Paul bio. We've been together as a full band for a little over a year, but things started way back about 2-3 years ago when Mark and Jason, after the breakup of their hardcore band, Easter Rebellion, decided to form a punk band. They immediatley began auditoning for a 2nd guitarist/singer and a bassist. They auditoned tons of people and most were either too bad or too good to play for them. They evntually found a guitarist/singer named Josh, but after he attmpted to turn the band's songs into country ones, he was eradicated. Then one day at summer school, before their freshman year, Mark approached Eric (who was at that time a member of the somewhat well known Pasadena ska band the Counterfits),who he had met at a Counterfits show months before. They began to talk about music and Mark mentioned that they were looking for a new singer/ guitar player. Eric told Mark a few days later that due to the fact that the Counterfits were breaking up shortly, he would like to audition for the role. About a week later Eric went to Marks house for a audition/practice, a few hours later, No Thanx To Paul, was now 3/4 complete. Now came the seemingly impossible task of finding a GOOD bassist. After about 3 tries (Antoine, Aaron, Chris "X") a friend of Eric's said that she had a friend who was looking for a band to play bass for (thanx Taryn!). A few days later, Eric recieved a call from Gavin Caswell who after one practice, was forced to join the band wether he liked it or not. Then began the rigorus practicing (hahaha) that has gotten them up to the point they are now.
