So tell me what your favorite album, song, Deaner solo, Gener vocal, favorite Ween show, etc. Hell, tell me your first Ween experience! I'll post it here for everybody to read. Just check out these Ween fans and what they have to say-
*Romeo Lucy- My good friend Romeo says that his favorite Ween album is Chocolate and Cheese and that his favorite Ween song is 'What Deaner Was Talking About'. Romeo's favorite Gener vocal is "Push th' Little Daisies". The drawing below of the Boognish was also submitted by Romeo. Thanks mang!

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
*Josh Solberg- Josh says his favorite Ween song is 'Spinal Meningitis Got Me Down' because when his Grandpa tells him he shouldn't be listening to that Satan music again, he can tell his Grandpa,"Ween says 'Smile on mighty Jesus". Josh's favorite Ween album is The Mollusk, he likes the ocean. His favorite Gener vocal is 'Freedom of 76', Josh once worked in a record store and his boss played Boys II Men everyday! His favorite Deaner guitar solo is 'A Tear for Eddie' although Josh first thought it was Eric Clapton who was playing!! He likes Deaner live cuz' he says he can see right through Deaner's tricks. Thanks Josh for sharing your faves.
*Evan Boyst-Evan's favorite Ween songs are 'Reggaejunkiejew' and 'Marble Tulip Juicy Tree' even though he likes them all, those two are his favorites to hear when he is stoned. Evan has seen Ween 8 times and was able to catch them twice this last 'Paintin' The Town Brown' tour. He even got to experience one of the shows on 'shrooms! Thanks alot Evan!
*Andy Fackler-Andy's favorite Ween album is 'The Pod' which also includes his favorite song 'Dr.Rock'. His favorite Deaner solo is from 'Voodoo Lady' but not the album 'Chocolate and Cheese' version but when played live (He loves the faces Deaner makes) His favorite Gener vocal is 'Freedom of 76'. (Andy says if you don't agree, try singing the high part and see how good you sound!) Thanks Andy for your favorites, they are top shelf choices.
*Melanie Lachney (Lady Burro)-Melanie's favorite Ween album hands down is 'Pure Guava' and her favorite song is a toss-up between 'Back to Basom' & 'Mr. Would You Please Help My Pony'. Her favorite Deaner solo choice is torn between any live version of 'A Tear For Eddie' or the live version of 'Pony' that we heard together in New Orleans. Her favorite Gener vocal also is yet another toss-up, and that is being between any version of 'Freedom of 76' or a performance of Ween covering 'Band on the Run' on a MP3 I let her hear in which she was quite amazed. And though her list is actually endless, she would like to add that she would like to thank the almighty Boognish for sending his two sons to save modern music as we all know it. Thank you Mel for your input!
*Mike Vallano- Mike has seen Ween four times. Twice in Pittsburgh, once in Cleveland, and once at the Mecca in New Hope, where he got to meet Ween and get their autographs! Like most true Ween fans, Mike's faves change from day to day because he loves them all so much. Currently, his favorite Deaner solo is the one from 'Flies On My Dick'. His favorite solo by Gener, is the one he performed at John and Peter's this past 'Painting the Town Brown' summer tour. Mike also wants to stress the importance of Oct.10th. That is Ween Day. It is to be celebrated all over the world AND by the word of the Boognish. Spread this information to everyone you know who loves Ween. I will be posting more 'Ween Day' information as Oct.10 2000 gets closer. This year will be the third Ween Day and it is already on a global level. If we start spreading the word of Ween Day now, it may become an even bigger event than it already is. A big thanks goes out to Mike for his faves!
*Jason S- Jason, who seen Ween in his hometown of Memphis, says his favorite Ween album is 'Chocolate and Cheese', which is followed by a close second being 'Paintin' The Town Brown'. Jason's favorite song is the 'Pure Guava' classic, 'Big Jilm' (which is another one of my all time favorite's too, Jason!) His favorite live Ween song is 'VooDoo Lady' which he seen them perform when he caught them in Memphis and he witnessed Gener put in a 'Santana-like' solo. Thanks for your favorite Ween things Jason!
* Michael Pugh-Michael's favorite Ween album is 'The Mollusk' (Right next to 'The Pod') and he would like to thank Dean and Claude for signing his copy. His favorite Deaner solo is 'A Tear For Eddie' and his favorite Gener vocal is 'What Deaner Was Talkin' About'. As far as a favorite song, Michael can only ask "What the fuck kind of question is that?". Though he does list a few as being 'The Mollusk','Sorry Charlie','Ocean Man' and 'Buckingham Green'. Thaks Michael for your input!
*Shannon Langlois-Shannon recently caught Ween in Montreal, Quebec for the 'White Pepper' tour and hung around after the show and met everyone and then she got to hang out with Deaner and Claude, where she got to witness them enjoying their Jack Daniels! Her boyfriend got a setlist, which got auatographed by the band and he even got a guitar pick from the fellas! Shannon's favorite Ween album is 'White Pepper' and her favorite song off of that album is 'Back To Basom'. Some of her other favorite Ween songs are 'What Deaner Was Talking About','Don't Get Too Close 2 My Fantasy' and 'Buckingham Green'. Shannon also caught Ween last year in Toronto for the 'Paintin' The Town Brown' tour and she says this latest time seeing them was even better. Thanks Shannon for your input at the Fan Forum!
*Clint Pittman-Clint says his favorite Ween song is every song they have ever done cuz there are so many of them to choose from! He almost settles for 'A Tear For Eddie' but hell, in the end, he has to decide on all of them! His favorite Ween album is 'The Pod' (Good call!) Clint's favorite Gener vocal is from 'Molly' and his favorite Deaner solo is 'A Tear For Eddie' (Yet another good call!) Thanks Clint for your input to the Fan Forum! I got to meet up with Clint at the 5/18/2000 Atlanta show and I must say that he's one cool dude!
*Rasmanen (Wim Nap)- Rasmaned says his favorite Ween album is the Pod (sometimes it's mine too!) His favorite song is 'Mountain Dew' (for the moment, because this changes every couple of weeks!) His favorite Gener vocal is 'Captain Fantasy' and his favorite Deaner solo is when he is playing 'L.M.L.Y.P.' A round of applause for Rasmanen's picks!
*Justin Connell-When it come's to Justin's music, he says he doesn't fool around. He likes bands that range from Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn to The Pogues and even Leonard Cohen. But if Justin was to be asked what band he couldn't live without, he would definitely say Ween! He says there is no doubt in his mind that Ween is one of the most talented bands out there. He has trouble choosing a favorite album, but he says from a musical standpoint it's 'Chocolate And Cheese', but in the end, he would pick 'The Pod'. That album never ceases to touch him when the weight of all of the world's bullshit starts taking a toll on his happiness. Justin says that when he is 80 years old, he will be blasting Ween and smoking his pipe, and I imagine I will probably be doing about the same Justin! A big thanks to Justin Connell for his words on Ween.
*Lisa M- Lisa, who hails from Wyoming, first heard Ween when she was tripping about 6 years ago when a friend played her 'Push The Little Daises' and he would wiggle his finger around every time they would sing the chorus, needless to say, she has loved them ever since! She says her favorite song is Joppa Road, she loves the vocals and guitar in it and the song gets to her. Her favorite album is 'White Pepper' though it's hard for her to really say what her favorite album is! But she says as far as a favorite when it comes to a Gener vocal or a Deaner solo, she can't decide. Lisa is the first person to tell me which lyric is her favorite and it's from 'She's Your Baby' off of 'White Pepper' and the lyric is 'down where the devils are dying with laughter'. Lisa recently caught Ween in Denver for her 6th and 7th time in Denver CO during their current 'White Pepper' tour and was in the front row both nights about a foot away from Deaner! She got to talk to Deaner throughout the show both nights and even got to go backstage and hang out with the fellas and Deaner even gave her a beer! Lisa really appreciates how Ween hangs out with and appriciates their fans. She can't wait for them to come through again so she can catch them. Thanks Lisa for your thoughts and for sharing your Ween experiences with the readers of the 'Fan Forum'!
*Bean Ween-Bean was able to catch Ween in Vancouver and then again 2 days later in Seattle for their 'White Pepper' tour. For Bean, the 3 1/2 hour Seattle show was better than the 4 hour Vancouver show becuase is was in a smaller venue, plus Bean got to hang out backstage for about an hour and drink beer and bullshit with the fellas! But the coolest part of that backstage experience, was when Deaner needed a dry shirt because he didn't have one, so Bean took off his shirt and gave it to a very appreciative Deaner and then he just put on a Ween shirt he had bought earlier that evening at the show. He says that Ween are the nicest guys in the world, and Claude is so down to earth. When if comes to favorites, Bean's favorite album is 'Pure Guava' for the simple fact it changed the way he looks at music forever. Though he says it is a trick question, his favorite song is 'The Stallion Pt.3'. His favorite Deaner solo is 'A Tear For Eddie' but Bean adds that all of Deaner ''Fuckin' blows his mind!". His favorite Gener vocal it 'Push The Little Daises' plus he says "it's just a damned good song". ( I couldn't agree more!) And finally, Bean's favorite Ween lyric is "I lick my brain in silence". Thanks Bean for all of your input and for sharing your Ween adventures with the readers of the Fan Forum!
*Chimp T-Chimp, who has seen Ween 4 times, says he's waiting to see them perform 'Chairman Of My Destiny' although he says 'The Stallion Pt.4' is his favorite Ween song because no other recorded sound pulses come close to it's majesty and granduer. His favorite Gener vocal is 'Little Birdy' (album version) because it always puts him where he wants to be everytime! His favorite album is 'GodWeenSatan: The Oneness' with a real close second being 'The Pod'. Chimp asks ''Wouldn't it be cool if the boys broke out with a blisterin' cover of 'Mississippi Queen'? (Now that woud be very interesting to say the least!) A huge round of applause out to Chimp for his kick ass faves!
*Daisy Lady-Margot T, who's known to me as Daisy Lady, says her favorite Ween songs off the top of her head are (and these are subject to change at any second!): Nan, Pumpin' 4 th' Man, Roses Are Free, Now I'm Freaking Out. Of course, like most of us, Margot has a hard time choosing a favorite Ween song! Her favorite Ween album is 'God Ween Satan: The Oneness'. She says her favorite Gener vocal is from 'L.M.L.Y.P.' she loves that cover of 'Shockadelica' and Gener rocks her world when they do it live. Her favorite Deaner solo is from 'VooDoo Lady' live but she says anything and everything he does makes her tingly. She loves Deaner and she loves his guitar faces! Her favorite Ween lyric is from 'Roses Are Free' and it is 'Don't believe the florist when he tells you that the roses are free'. Margot has seen Ween four times: At Mississippi Nights in St. Louis during the 'Chocolate And Cheese' tour, at the Metro in Chicago during 'The Mollusk' tour (where she drove 400 miles to a sold out show where she had to sneak in!), at the Apacalypse in Memphis for the 'Paintin' The Town Brown' tour and then in Hollywood at the Palace for the 'White Pepper' tour. The first Ween song Margot ever heard was 'Push the Little Daisies' when she was 15 and wasted! Daisy Lady says 'All hail the mighty Boognish for blessing us with his boys, the brothers Ween! Thanks Margot for your words on Ween!
*Mike Johns-I met Mike, who is from Sacremento, CA. in August of 99' at the New Orleans House of Blues show when he was standing behind me wearing his trademark gorilla mask. At the time, I was nursing a broken collarbone and not in the mood to have some young punk slamming into me needless to say! Well all went well throughout the show until right at the end during 'L.M.L.Y.P.' when this drunken Dennis Christopher looking guy went to bouncing himself and his girlfriend all over me, resulting in him sloshing his beer all over me! Well, I was pissed off so I slammed the guy sailing him and his woman several feet away from me onto the floor. Then in steps MIke! He talked the guy into leaving the area and ever since then, Mike and I occasionally get a hardy chuckle when we discuss that silly moment! Mike has only stated to me one favorite and that is his favorite song off of 'The Pod' which is the timeless classic 'Frank'. Although he didn't go into favorites, Mike has submitted copies of a setlist and various ticket stubs from Ween shows he has attended. I also have posted with those items, a few pics he sent me of him wearing not only his trademark gorilla mask, but he's also wearing his Boognish Superhero shirt. Thanks Mike for the items to post and for stepping in to calm a bad situation I had no control over in my wounded state of being at that time!

*Ben Hevey-Ben told me he got to listening to Ween through the 'punk-ass route', he's a big Phish Head and he likes 'Roses are Free' and he finally got to see the composers of that brilliant song during the 'White Pepper' tour. Ben says it was love at first sight. Ben's favorite Ween tune is 'Baby Bitch' which also is his favorite lyrics, his favorite guitar solo is the end of 'Awesome Sound' and his favorite Ween album is 'The Mollusk'. Ben also shared with me so I could convey to 'Fan Forum' readers, a cool Ween story. When Ben heard that Ween was going to be putting on a free show at Bowdoin College, he knew what he had to do: ROAD TRIP!! So he asked along threee friends who had not only never heard Ween, but they had never even heard of them! They left on a Friday and spent that night at a friends house in Salem getting pretty trashed and what not. Well they got up bright and early that Saturday morning to catch Ween's afternoon Bowdoin show. They got to the campus around three in the afternoon. Well, after they checked out the campus, Ben asked his friend Liz to go back to the car and have a few shots of Southern Comfort to get ready for the show. So when Ben and Liz get back to where the show is going to be, his other friends asked him if he had been drinking and he told them no. Then, his friends told him that they were going to hang outside for a little while before the show and Ben was cool with that. Come showtime, Ben's friends were nowhere to be seen, nor were they anywhere to be seen during the show! When the show was over, Ben was leaving and found his friends and asked them how they had liked the show, they told him they didn't even go in because they were pissed at him for drinking! He told them after three hours he had sobered up when in reality, he wasn't even drunk to begin with. A huge shouting match ensued and things turned ugly. His friends decided not to speak to him but he got back at them though, he played 'Painting The Town Brown' and 'The Mollusk' very loudly just to piss them off further. Everything worked out in the end though, those two who were pissed off turned out becoming very big Ween fans. Thanks Ben for your favorites and your kickass Ween roadtrip story for all of the readers here at the forum!
*Andrea Z-Andrea has several favorite Ween songs (Don't we all?) And they are: 'The Golden Eel','Right To The Ways and The Rules of The World','Mutilated Lips','Cold Blows The Wind','Sketches of Winkle' and 'Spinal Menengitis (Got Me Down)"-So hard to choose! Andrea's favorite album is 'The Pod' with 'The Mollusk' a close second. 'Right to the Ways and The Rules of The World' is also her favorite Gener vocal, to her he sounds like a priest-'Holding the saaaacrrrements...'. Andrea's favorite guitar solo is from 'Polka Dot Tail' because it's so tripped out she can picture jellyfish dancing to it. Her overall favorite lyric is 'Mutilated lips give a kiss on the wrist of the worm-like tips of tentacles expanding in my mind' from 'Mutilated Lips' of course! She e-mailed Deaner once, she said 'haloo' and some babble in Chachou language/dialect and even threw down some poems she thought he might like to read while on the road-the poems weren't mushy though, they were about Turkicide! A big round of applause out to Andrea! Thanks.
*Samuel G-'Desert Yam'- Samual says his favorite song is between either 'disco' from the 2/90 Trenton NJ show or 'Birthday Boy'. His favorite album is 'Pure Guava'. His favorite Gener vocal is between 'Birthday Boy', 'Captain Fantasy' or 'Freedom of 76' and his favorite Deaner solo is from the version of 'Awesome Sound' off of 'Paintin' The Town Brown'. Sam's favorite lyric is 'Put the noodle on the griddle as it climbs the grobe' from 'The Grobe'. The faculty here at 'Burrosville' really appreciate your input Sam, thanks!
*WeenNut6-Check out the cool Boognish tat!

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
*King Meatock-Now that's a helluva Boognish tattoo he's got!
*Shawn E- Shawn comes from a "shithole" next to the Mexican border called Sierra Vista, Arizona. (Sorry Vista!) He's never been to a Ween show but would give both of his testicles to see one! He's been contemplating suicide because he doesn't think he's ever going to make it to one, but he's too lazy to follow through with it. Shawn says his favorite Ween album is 'The Pod' and some of his favorite songs are 'Moving Away', 'Demon Sweat', 'Don't Laugh I Love You', 'Sarah' and 'Don't Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy) He says these are the shit when he's fucked the fuck up. He's got a Boognish tattoo on his right arm from the Chocolate and Cheese era. It looks exactly like the Boognish on the buckle on the cover of C&C. He says he will send a picture of it later. Shawn says his favorite hobbies are doing drugs, listening to Ween and dry fucking cheerleaders. A big salute to Shawn for his input to the forum!
*Jakk Cook (The Scab Boy)-Jack took these pics at the 3/29/01 Buffalo, NY show at the Tralfalmado Cafe. He also videotaped this performance and I have it available for trade on my world famous Ween Bootleg Trading Page! Thanks Jakk for sending me these shots of the fellas!
