"Justin, that was the kid dying terminally with intestinal cancer. His last dying wish was to meet us and it really freaked me out. That threw a whole bunch of new kind of pressures on my head. That's really intense. Someone's gonna die and his last thing he wants to do is come hang out with us. So I truly just freaked out. It's like why would you want to meet me? What makes me so special? And in turn I talk about how I admire his strength and his life. I couldn't stare at him because he was so content he was gonna die. No one could look him in the eyes. And I totally admire his strength. I wish I had it."

In a way I feel disrespectful by writing about Justin and telling his story and yet nobody else has dedicated anything in his memory, so I feel he deserves this, So Swallowed Lies is dedicated in Justin's memory. Justin was a typical young teen with an illness which took his life at such a young age. He had intestinal cancer which couldnt be cured. The make a wish foundation for sick children had him make a wish , His wish was to meet Korn and hang out with them for just a few minutes, It ended up being days and then weeks, Jon, head, david, munky and fieldy got attached to him, Jon ended up writing a song for him and included it on their 3rd cd Follow The Leader. A few weeks after meeting Justin, The band was called by his family , they had told them he wouldnt be living much longer, Jonathan has said once that when he recived that call he started balling [AP Magazine]. As most probley know , Jusin died during the Family Values '98 Tour. As ive been told he died the first day of the tour.
This is all that will be written , Out of respect for justin , his friends, family and Jon, Brian, Reggie, David and James .
