" Yes,I know mother. Don't worry, we'll be fine."
"Oh, give Zoe a bottle before her nap, or else she'll wake up cranky. And make sure Billy get home safely when he leaves."
"Ok mom." Taylor wined.
"Well, see you in a few hours honey. Bye Zoe, mommy will be home soon." she gently kissed her little girl, that was lying in Tay's arms.
"Bye"
He went over to the window to wave good-bye to his parents. They honked the horn as they drove out the drive way and down the road out of sight.
Taylor walked into the kitchen to get Zoe her lunch.
"Hmmm.... do you want the Pooh or the Tigger bottle?" he said to his baby sister, knowing very well that she coulnd't answer him.
"I think we'll go with the Tigger."
Zoe smiled back at him.
As he fed her the bottle, he sang bits and peices of I Will Come To You.
"When the night is dark and stormy, you won't have to reach out for me. I will come to you, oh, I will come to you."
"Oh man! You just cut me in half!" Zac yelled from the family room.
"Zac shhhh! I'm trying to get Zoe to sleep."
"Well sorry, Mr. Canky pants!" Zac shot back.
Taylor continued to sing to Zoe, when she fiannly fell asleep. He layed her down gently in her cribe.
"Oh man!" Zac screetched from the family room.
"Waaaaaaaahh" Zoe screamed.
"Zac! I just got Zoe to sleep! I told you to be quiet!" Taylor snapped, while running out of his parents room down to the family room, where Zac was. "I think Billy should go home, so you can come help me put Zoe back to sleep."
"But Tay, that's not fair!" Zac complained.
"It's ok Zac. I have to go home soon anyway." Billy interupted.
As Billy left, Zac made his way up to his parents room to help Tay get Zoe back to sleep. She had been crying non stop for a while now and the boys didn't know what to do for her.
"Maybe she needs a clean diaper(sp?)?" Tay suggested.
"I'm not changing her!" Zac complained.
"Well, your the one who woke her up in the first place!" Tay shot back.
"Ok, ok, fine. But your helping me." Zac told Taylor matter-of-factly.
"What do I do first?" Zac asked.
" Take off the diaper." Taylor instructed.
"Eww, this is soooo groos!" Zac said holding his nose. "Here." he said giving the dirty diaper to Tay.
"Gee, thanks."
"Think of it as an early birthday present." Zac laughed. "Ok, what next?"
"Wipe" Tay handed him a wash cloth.
"This is more discusting than the diaper was!"
"Now you can put the powder on."
Zac grabbed the powder, but he was having trouble opening it.
"It won't open!" Zac said, starting to get impatient.
"Let me see." Tay grabbed the bottle of powder out of Zac's hands.
POOF- the powder spilt all over Tay.
" Ha-ha-ha-ha!" Zac laughed histericly(sp?)
"Oh, so you think that's funny?" Tay smiled an impish grin.
POOF- Taylor poured the powder all over Zac. They both looked at Zoe. She was finding this very entertaining.
"OH you like that, huh?" Zac said to her. "Well," POOF- he poured more onto Tay.
"OK, this means war!!" Taylor stated.
They both began pouring the powder over each other and all over their parents room. They were using the good pillows on the bed as shelds.
"What on earth is going on in here?" a familer voice called out from the bed room door.
"Mom, Dad, what are you doing home?" Taylor asked, knowing they would not be happy about the mess.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha" came 3 little voices giggling from behind their parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Hanson looked at each other. They both burst out laughing. The look on Tay and Zac's facing at that momnet was priceless, they couldn't help but laugh.
You two are going to have one big mess to clean up." Mr.Hanson said, still laughing.
"Well, at least Zoe's not crying anymore." Tay pointed out.
Mrs. Hanson walked over to her and finished changing her.
"Why are you home so early?" Taylor asked.
" Well, your father didn't want to stay so we decided to come home. On the way we saw Ike and the kids walking home, so we picked them up." Mrs. Hanson explained. "Ike is going to be sorry he missed this." she laughed.
