Chapter 14: Taylor, I Need To Tell You Something

Brittney's words ran through her head like a bull. "Taylor, I need to tell you something...." And it wouldn't stop until Taylor spoke.

"Oh my gosh!" Taylor screamed jumping off the couch.

Brittney's mind was racing once again. "Does he know? Did Josh tell him? Calm down, and stop jumping to conclusions!" she told herself. But she couldn't. And as Tay opened his mouth to speak her eyes widened.

"I can't belive I forgot to tell you! I mean, it's so important... and it's the reason I came here, well besides to ask you to help me with Brock and Michelle problem."

"Taylor! Spit it out!" she yelled impatiently.

"OK, here it goes.... you know Hanson...? Well, we got nominated for 3 Grammy's... isn't that wonderful?!"

Brittney was so relived, she couldn't belive she had let herself think that Tay knew. Somehow she felt a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders.

"Isn't that wonderful?" he repeated, slightly changing his tone.

In her own glory, she had forgot to congradulate him.

"Oh, yeah, it is! I'm so happy for you!" she got up and kissed him. "But you deserve it, I mean, you worked so hard."

"We work hard." he corected.

"Oh, sorry Mr. Hanson."

"Ike, did you see my soccer ball?" an impatient Zac asked while walking into the den.

Isaac raised his head from the TV with a confused look on his face. "Zac, it's the middle winter, why inb the world would you want to play soccer now?"

"Because I want to. Just because it's winter dosen't mean you can't play soccer!"

"Ah, Zac, newsflash, yeah it does!"

"No it dosen't."

"Yes it does."

"No it dosen't."

Well yeah, you can play soccer, but that's only if your stupid enogh to in this weather. Do you relize it's pouring rain outside?"

"Yeah, but it's got to stop sometime and when it does, I'm playing soccer."

"OK, fine!"

"So, did you?"

"Did I what?"

"Did you see my soccer ball?"

"Zac I don't know where it it is! I haven't seen it in months."

"Ok, fine. It was just a question, geez!"

"What did you want to do tonight?" Tay questioned.

"Well, I heard Titanic's playing." Brittney replied.

"Cool. I really want to see that movie! Maybe Ike can take us."

"Cool."

"Oh shit, I forgot, I have to babysit cause Ike's going out with some girl he met and Zac's going over to Melissa's and Mom and Dad are taking Zoe to my aunt's house."

"Oh" "Sure."

"Stupid, stupid, stupid soccer ball!!" Zac complained walking through his bedroom door.

"Problems?" Ike asked.

"I finally found the soccer ball but it's deflated, and dad said he dosen't have time to pump it up."

"So do it yourself."

"I can't. The stupid thing always pops out when I try. Hey Ike, will you?"

"Sorry Zac, I've got a date." Ike bragged slapping on some colone.

"Geez Ike... you must have 5 minutes!"

"Actually I don't." Ike answered walking passed his brother.

"You stink! And now my room sticks! Thanks a lot!"

"Zac, uh, it's colone, grow up!"

"Me grow up! Ha, I'm not the one who stinks like a diaper!"

"Well, at least I don't need a diaper!" Ike shot back.

Zac jupmed on his brother bringing him to the floor.

"Zac get off me, I'm going out, just, man, someone's cranky!" Ike pushed his brother off of him and left the room.

"I'm cranky!" he mumbled as he picked up the phone and called Melissa.
