The rain poured down on Ike as he tried to stand under the eve of the house. His wet and cold hand reached for the doorbell, when the door opened. A tall, stern man stood in his way. He looked to be someone very judgemental as he looked Isaac over for inspection. His eyes widening when he got to Ike's hair.But he must have passed his hair off as he motioned Ike inside.
"Charlotte!" his low toned voice echoed through the house.
"The mad sat down in an armchair as he let out a sigh. Stareing at Ike he said, "My little girl is very, VERY important to me, and if anything at all ever happens to her...."
"Hey Isaac!" Charlotte greated him, coming down the stairs, interupting her father. "Dad, this is Isaac Hanson."
Ike put out his hand, but the man ignored it.
"Ok" he thought. " Hopefully she's nothing like her father." WEll at least she didn't seem like it when they met.
You see, Zac had been bugging Ike to go into the candy store because he was craving some A&W root beer, and Jelly Belly jelly beans, but it was Friday morning and Dianna was coming home with Zoe today. So Ike didn't really feel like stopping, but to make Zac stop yapping, they went. About 5 minutes after they had been in the store, crash! Bang! Splat! About 20 boxes of chocolates, like domino's, fell to the floor. Zac above saying "Ooops!" Zac quickley tried to pick up the boxes, but at his attempt to put them back on the shelf, more fell.
"Zac." Isaac warned his brother.
"That's ok." reassured a short, skinny, blonde haired girl that worked there.
Isaac, trying to think quickly, replied, "If any are damaged, we'll pay for them"
"Oh, well, I think they'll be ok. I'll help you put them back." she said.
After that time,Isaac came back 3 more times that day, claiming Zac wanted more jelly beans, till finally he got the nerve to ask her out.
"Mackie no, Mackie, no! You color on paper, see,. Mackie NO!!" Talor's voice rang throughout the Hanson house.
"Ah, Tay?" Brittney started, "Your sister is climbing on top of the cupboards."
"AVEY!" Taylor screamed again. "Get down!" He turned to Brittney "Really, usually there not this bad....... usually!"
The door opened and in walked Zac and Melissa soking wet from head to toe.
"What? Why in the world are you so wet?" Taylor asked in frusteration.
"Duh, it's raining out!" Zac pointed out the window.
"Ag, yeah, but are you stupid enogh to go out in the rain? Well, appearently yes!"
"It did stop you know. But we were in the middle of a soccer game and well, we had to finish it!"
Tay eyed the mud and snow on Zac and Melissa's clothes. "Why would you want to play soccer today? Your so stupid, I mean, Zac, have some sense! IF you catch a cold I swear, I'll kill you! That's the last tbing we need. Don't even try to exlpain, cause I don't feel like listening, just go change, and give Melissa Jessie's clothes."
"Fine. Man, it's no big deal, it's just water!"
"GO!" Tay warned.
Tay was begining to get a head ache. "Why would he go outside in the dark, to play soccer in the rain?Geez, what a kid!"
Isaac had taken Charlotte to see Titanic, but he didn't tell Tay that. The last thing he needed was his little brother tagging along on his date. Now on the door steps, she said" I had a great time tonight Ike. That movie was really great. Well, except for those gilrs behind you constently bugging you. It's really weird, because you don't seem famous, but you are. Your just so normal."
He leaned over and kissed her just as the door flung open. Her father standing over them glaring at Ike.
"Good night!" Charlotte yelled running in the door way. But Ike couldn't speak, all he could see was her fathers eyes widening and his face getting reder. In fact Ike was about to run but his feet wouldn't move, he was just frozen there. "Great" he thought, " Demon dad is out to get me, and I can't even move."
