"Hi" Brittney said shyly.Her mind was racing and she was wondering what to say next.
"Is that your dog?"Taylor asked looking at her deep brown eyes. "Great opening!" he thought to himself.
"Well actually he's my aunt's dog. I'm Brittney." she said after a moment of silence.
"I'm Taylor." he smiled at her once more.
Brittney returned the smile."Where have I seen him before?" she thought.
"Are you new around here?" he asked, hoping to find out more about her.
"Yeah, I am. I just got here today, and decided to check things out. It seems pretty nice around here."
"I like it here..."he said while wondering how much longer he would be in Tulsa before the tour.
"It seems like everywhere I go around here there's kids!"
"Well, I guess it's just one of those neighbourhoods. I've got a really big family. Sometimes it's a handful but it's great to have them all there when you need them."
"I wish I had a big family, I mean, I'm an only child."
"I don't think I could imagine being an only child! We've got almost 7 kids in out family!"
"Almost 7? In other words, your mom's pregnant?"
"Yeah, she's due any day now. I can't wait till it's born so we can get on with some things that need to get done."
"It must be really great."
" Did you want me to shoe you around here?"
"Yeah, that would be great!"
"Ok, do you mind if my brother drives us?"
"No, that's perfect."
They walked to Taylor's house. " Come in." he said.
"Can I use your phone to call my aunt?"
"Sure, it's right over there on the counter."
Taylor took off his shoes and ran upstairs. "Ike!" he yelled while opening the bedroom door. "Ike can you drive me to the mall?"
"Sorry man, I've gotta stay home till Dad comes back. Mom won't let me leave in case she needs a drive to the hospital."
"Great." Tay said ad he walked out. "I'm really sorry," he told Brittney while walking down the stairs. "my brother can't take us."
Just then Mackie came running into the kitchen.
"Who are you?" he asked Brittney in wonder.
"I'm Brittney. And who are you?" she asked while poking him in the belly.
"I'm Mackie!"
"Well, Hi Mackie."
"HI." he said and then ran out of the room as fast as he came in.
"Cute." Brittney said looking at Tay. She meant the kid, but it worked for him too.
"Do you just want to watch tv or something?"
"Sure."
They went into the den and sat on the couch.
"Do you like Days Of Our Lives?" he asked looking at her?
"You watch Days?" she said, surprized that a guy watched the soap. "Well, I don't exactly mean it that way, I mean, I watch it too." she explained.
"It's on, do you want to watch it?"
"Sure." she said almost stumbling over her words. "Did you see it on friday, when Roman found out about John and Marlena?"
"Yeah, poor guy! But Marena & John deserve to be together!"
Brittney almost started laughing at Taylor but stopped herself when she noticed Roman had fainted.. Soon enough the 2 were wrapped up in the show to say anything, at least till commercials.
Tay was really glad to actually meet someone who was normal. But he was also wondering if she had even heard of Hanson. He looked at her and she looked at him.
" Where have I seen him before?" she thought again.
