Concert Reviews

My Review of Houston I got up at 7:00 in the morning and the concert started at 6:00 p.m.  We also had to drive all the way from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Houston Texas.  That took 6 hours.  We got in Houston at 1:30 and parked at the Woodlands at 2:00.  Me and my friend Brittney had on our Hanson shirts, but we were kinda stupid because we wore big black JNCO's.  We waited for the gates to open for 2 hours.  When we got to the gates, we saw a bunch of girls attempting to sing "MMMBop."  Me and Brittney were burning up.  While we were waiting, we spent $60.00 on merchandise.  After 2 hours of misery they opened the gates at 4:00.  We got in alive.  We found our seats, Row LL seats 23 and 24, section left. Isaac's side!!! We had to wait for another 2 hours until the concert actually started. As we were waiting, their guards were giving out backstage passes everywhere! Unfortunately I didn't get one.  But Zac came out the back door for about 3 minutes, so all the rest of us could see him.  I would of took pictures, but we couldn't bring cameras, they were searching us!  Zac had the coolest out-fit on, orange camoflauge pants with a black shirt with red and white stripes.  He looked so cool! When most of the crowd noticed he was out there he went back inside.  We waited and waited until finally "Admiral Twin" came out.  After that, me and Brittney didn't sit down for another 3 hours! They played like 5 songs and lasted 30 minutes then they said "Good Night" and left.  From then we waited another 30 minutes for the crew to set up Hanson's set.  Isaac, Taylor and Zac were teasing us by waving and peaking out from behind the curtain. Everytime they did we would scream.  Finally, we heard the beginning of "Gimme Some Lovin" and that was it for the crowd. We went wild! They lifted up the curtain and revealed them!  It became louder and louder!  They all looked so good!  Isaac was wearing a brown short sleeve shirt with brown pants and brown boots. Taylor was wearing a tight white see through shirt with tight blue jeans. No Joke!  Isaac and Taylor had their hair pulled back.  They played Gimme Some Lovin/Shake your Tailfeather and then Taylor asked us how we were doing. And said "Ya'll are really loud."  We were, it was the truth.  Then he asked "Are you guys ready to rock?" We answered back automatically and then they broke out in Where's the Love.  Then after that song they went straight to "Weird" and "Speechless."  They paused for a minute to tell us where the song "River" was from and then they sang it.  Then they played "Thinking of You" and about 2 more songs and took a break.  When they came back it was time for the acoustic songs.  They sang "Stories" and "Soldier" and  "With You in Your Dreams" and a few more I can't remember.  Then it was time for favorite part, Ike's solo.  It was beautiful.  He sang "More Than Anything" and played the keyboard. After Ike's solo, they took another break.  The crew put up the orginal set, and they came back out. They played a song to introduce the band and Taylor showed us his drumming skills while Zac cooled us off with his Super Soaker.  He said "Time to anihilate." It was so funny! Then They played "Magic Carpet Ride", "Money", "Good Love", "I Will Come to You".  They came to "MMMBop" and the crowd went wild.  Then came Man From Miluakee, supposed to be their last song. EVerybody was up and jumping and singing. Right before the last drumroll, Isaac jumped off the drum stage onto the main stage on his knees all the way accross the stage. It was so cool.  They said "Thank You" and "Good Night" and left the stage.  Everybody stayed where they were and kept screaming.  Zac said "Do you really want us back?" We screamed. He said "Are you sure?"  Then they walk out with huge Super Soakers" and Zac said "I guess that's good enough!"  Taylor said "We don't want to leave either so we'll sing acouple more songs.  They played "Look at You" and "Summertime Blues."  It was so cool!  They said their Tanx and said we were awesome.  When Zac tried to give his drumsticks to someone, another girl tried to take one and Zac and the girl wouldn't let go, and he said "Gimme the freakin' stick."  It was so funny you had to be there. They soaked us with water and Isaac threw out guitar picks.  Then after that they left for good and the crowd started leaving. The whole concert lasted about 3 1/2 hours. The Hanson part was 2 1/2 hours long. It was so awesome. It was the best night of my life! -*Erica Hernandez*-
