According to Cartoon Network, any character in the cartoon universe can in some way be linked back to Velma. So that she is the center of the cartoon universe. For example, Betty Rubble: Betty Rubble who takes aerobics with Judy Jetson whose dog Astro takes speech Lessons with Scooby, who, of course, solves mysteries with Velma. David: Bumblebee from Transformers

Bumblee is a yellow transformer who transforms into a VW bug that gets worked on in the sane shop as a certain VW van owned by Shaggy, who solves mysteries with Velma.

Johnny: Voltron

Voltron is made up of five different lions the blue lion makes up the left leg and is piloted by Princess Alura, who goes shopping with Daphne, who solves mysteries with Velma.

Sylvia: Casper

Casper is a friendly ghost who is made fun of by mean ghosts, two of which bear a strining resemblance to the two silly ghosts in all thirteen episodes of The Thirteen Ghosts of Scooby Doo, who follow Scooby, Shaggy and Daphne, all of whom solve mysteries with Velma.

Shari: Fred Flinstone

Fred Flinstone whose daughter Pebbles sings in a band that sounds very similar to Josie and the Pussy Cats, all of whom are friends with a blond guy who shops with Freddy, who solves mysteries with Velma.
