One Heart One Soul Blond hair, shining blue eyes, a charming smile - the brothers Aaron (9) and Nick (17) Carter looks amazing alike. Also their natural charisma and their charm makes them both to real Sunnyboys. They are both polite, uncomplicated and playful. You gotta love them! "We're both one heart and one soul - we never fight", says Nick and adds laughing "At home we both still share a room. None of us wanna be alone. But, because I'm away so often, Aaron always has the place to himself."

Even though there is a age difference of 8 years Nick and Aaron shares a lot of interests. Like Nick, Aaron is also an enthusiastic fan of Basketball and video-games.

Nick: "I often buy Aaron new Nintendo games from the places I visit, then we both play them for hours in our room and forget everything around us."

And Aaron tells: "Nick always makes small movies, with his videocamera, with me in the leading role! He always comes up with a story, and I dress up as James Bond or Luke Skywalker from Star Wars."

To Aaron Nick is more than just the older brother. "He is my best friend, who always protects me," says Aaron. "I've got a lot of friends at school, but nobody is like Nick. With him I have the most fun." Even though Aaron a twin sister named Angel has, he feels, that he is much stronger with Nick bonded. Aaron: "Nick even lets me play on his loved drumset and sometimes we also sing together." In the few free days after the Backstreet Boys tour, Nick taught his younger brother to play the guitar. "Nick is my idol - I wanna be as successful as him", tells Aaron, who recorded his first single "Crush on you" in June. The song will be released a bit before the start of the Backstreet Boys Open Air tour, that begins August 22nd in Hannover. Aaron is gonna be in the opening act of the tour, and he's gonna sing 3 songs. Both boys are looking forward to the tour, cos they're gonna spend several weeks together on the road. Nick: "To me it's always nice to have my family near me. I need the warmth of the nest."

The sisters Angel (9) and Bobbie (15), who is called BJ by the Carters, and Mum Jane is accompanying them both on the summer-tour. Only Lesley (10), the fifth child of the Carters, is staying with dad Bob in Tampa. Recently Aaron and Lesley entered in a talent show in school. "I sang "Crush on you" and Lesley sang "You were meant for me"", reveals Aaron, "we both became 2nd! Great, huh?" Aaron has to press the school bench like Nick - only Nick makes it through his pensum on the road. He wants to study for his high school graduation this summer. Aaron is an excellent student, his favourite subject is math. He was also the first to drive in Nick's green Chevrolet, that Nick bought in the end of April, just after he got his drivers license.

When BSB spend a week of holiday on Maui, Aaron also came along. "That was the greatest holiday, that I've ever been to", dreams the little blondhead. Both brothers fooled around at the beach and boogie-boarded in the ocean. Aaron has also made friends with the four other BSB boys. He's happy about Nick's small presents. Proudly he shows his necklace of black and golden pearls. "Nick gave them to me in Tampa, when he came home from the last tour", tells the small Aaron proud.

"From that day on, I've worn it day and night. It always reminds me of Nick, even if he's not with me!"
