The Backstreet Boys are considering plans to open their own hotel in America.

The boys are on the search for the perfect location for their newest venture, which follows in the footsteps of U2, who own The Clarence Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.

The American group are "looking at various projects and opportunities at lots of cities around the United States," according to Richardson.

The newly wed star revealed the BSB's plans during a visit to Huntsville, Alabama, on Monday when he met city council officials and real estate developers to discuss plans to build a hotel in the city.

Elaborating on the group's choice of areas in which to base their project, Richardson says, "This city has a nice civic center, it would be nice to see a hotel in this area."
