(11/14/00, 5 p.m. ET) - The Backstreet Boys will take part in a satellite performance to be broadcast exclusively in the home-entertainment departments of 2,000 U.S. Wal-Mart stores, and via a special webcast at walmart.com on November 21 at 8 p.m. ET. The event will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the group as well as exclusive interviews and performances.

The Wal-Mart concert event coincides with the release of the group's highly anticipated third album, Black & Blue. A bonus track titled "What Makes You Different, Makes You Beautiful'' will only be found on special edition copies of Black & Blue, which will be available for purchase only at Wal-Mart stores and its website. This bonus song will also be performed by the Backstreet Boys during the broadcast.

Furthermore, Walmart.com is teaming up with Ebay (ebay.com) to auction an original suit worn by group member Nick Carter on the Backstreet Boys' Millennium tour. All the Backstreet Boys have signed the suit, and proceeds from its sale will go to group member Howie Dorough's charity, the Caroline Dorough-Cochran Lupus Memorial Foundation. Walmart.com will also feature Backstreet Boys merchandise and their Holiday Wish List.

In addition to the Wal-Mart promotions, the Backstreet Boys recently scheduled a New York City press conference for the Black & Blue release date, November 21 .
