Dude!!!!! The Wolfpack game on January 17 was the BEST hockey game It was just DUDE! Ok, here it goes... It was the St. John Flames VS. the Wolf Pack. (personally, anyone with the word "flames" in their name is just asking for trouble!)
Jen, her dad, and I all arrived really really early! We had to wait even longer then usual because there was a basketball game earlier. Well anyway, once we got inside, Jen's dad remembered that he had forgotten to lock the car! So he left me and Jen just standing there inside the Hartford Civic Center.
So we were standing there on the second floor looking down over everyone on the first floor. Right below us was a guy selling programmes. And Jen and I were kinda making fun of him... but now in a mean way!! We were like "Get you programmes! Come on get your friggin' programmes right here right now! COME ON TAKE A PROGRAMME DAMN IT!" it was kinda funny actually.
Then we started scoping out some guys... not too many great looking guys in the inner city!
But Jen did see this one guy with a hat... OK ANYWAY..... Well, anyway, here is a pic I scanned of the actual ticket.
Jen's dad came back, and we walked downstairs and waited.. I mean we WAITED!!! It seemed like forever! But trust me! The game was well worth the wait! So FINALLY the doors opened, and we all rushed to our seats.
We had pretty good seats, I liked them, there were in section 204, right where that cool bar thing is. well, Jen and me went to go get some hot dogs and sodas. The lady at the counter had a beard..... Welll, Jen's dad wanted a Sausage dog, and neither of us wanted to touch it, so we got a tray for it!
The bearded Lady gave us a tray!!! Isn't that NICE?
So after a LONG time waiting, the game started! AND HERE ARE YOUR HARTFORD WOLFPACK!!!!!
Ok, the first period was AWESOME! No fights in the first period, but they made up for it later! :)
We got two goals in the first period alone! WE WERE KICKING THEIR SORRY FLAMING BUTTS!!! Jen and I were screaming out "PJ!!!!" And Jen had to teach me how to say #7's name, which by the way sounds a lot like swordfish.
So I just started screaming out the names I knew, like DUBE! and ROBB(Stauber)! Names like that. Oh! I forgot to mention that a few of Jens "friends" were there at the hockey game, they were just a few rows ahead of us.
They kept getting on the big screen, I really wonder why someone would want to put someone THAT ugly on the big screen. ANYWAY....
So in the second period a few fights broke out, just a few tiffs. I think the Flames scored in the second period, I'm not sure though, all I
remember is hearing Jen very loudly go "BOO!!!" that must've been when they scored.Jen is the biggest P.J. nut! I've never seen ANYONE so damn giggly when a guy walks out on the ice!
I forgot to mention that during "The Star Spangled banner" and "O' Canada" Jen was giggling! I asked her why and she goes "I SAW PPPPPPJJJJJJJ!!!!!". She cracks me up,honestly. She thinks I'm nuts because when they said that the Fleet little hockey team was coming out I go "FLEETWOOD MAC? LINDSEY???" hee hee. Well the third period was the BEST! TWO, COUNT THEM TWO PJ FIGHTS!
HE KICKED THEIR ASSES BOTH TIMES! Then my guy swordfish (#7) also got into a fight!! There were fights everywhere! OH THE HUMANITY! (I was making it sound really dramatic puposely) Well, by that time we had a score of something like 4-2, we were still kicking their sorry butts!Then the reff made a bad call and I screamed out "THE REFF IS GAY!" and I think he heard me.....
Jen and I did so much
screaming, I don't think we're going to be talking for WEEKS! Well, I must say I was very
impressed with the second PJ fight, one of the Flames pushed on e of our players into the goal, and PJ was PISSED OFF! And he the other player! Everyone was like GO PJ! KICK HIS ASS!!!!!" it was REALLY COOL! Then there was that fight with another Wolfpack player,
he got the other guy ON HIS back ON the ice! Then they played that part of "Happy Gilmore" Where he's beating teh crap out of Bob Barker, and they cut parts of the other
fight into it! It was HILLARIOUS! Well, to make a long story short (like me)
We WON! WE KICKED THEIR BUTTS! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! WE WON 6-2!!!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
