Phobia
Hey all! Okay, this is serious. Put all joking aside and listen up. We're writing this regarding Carley's story and what is to be expected. Also, if you're one of those obsessed fans (doesn't matter who you're obsessed with), please stay and read what this is about. Now, we're serious, okay? If you want to e-mail us and tell us that we shouldn't have put this up, then go ahead and do it, but it's staying, whether you like it or not.
If you're a hater (of anyone, doesn't have to be Hanson) then you should definitely stay, too. This may seem pretty lame, but we're doing this for the well-being of not only Hanson, but of other famous bands and actors as well. Now, a note to haters: We think most of those hate pages out there are hilarious and we have a ball visiting them when we do, but there ARE pages that scare us. For instance, if all you do is talk about ways to kill that particular person/band, then who wouldn't be scared?
Moving along, Carley's story is based on overly-obsessed fans who sometimes go too far to get what they want. Some examples taken straight out of All About You are as follows:

  • Margaret ray broke into David Letterman's house eight times, claiming to be Mrs. Letterman. She even went cruising in his Porsche.
  • Robert Hoskins claimed he was Madonna's husband and managed to enter the grounds surrounding her house three times. Hoskins was shot by her bodyguards the last time he tried to get close to the material girl and is now sentenced to 10 years in prison.
  • John Hinckley Jr. tried to assassinate Presidant Ronald Reagan to impress actress/director Jodie Foster. He was later confined to a mental hospital.
  • When Michael J. Fox got married, Tina Ledbetter wrote him 6,000 letters.
  • Robert Bardo tracked down his crush, actress Rebecca Schaeffer (co-star in the '80s sitcom My Sister Sam) to her Los Angeles home. When she answered the door he shot and killed her because he thought she didn't like him.

Well, if all these things can happen to other celebs, who's to say that it can't happen to Hanson? We're not trying to curse them, or make people worried/scared, We're just trying to make all of you open your eyes and think about what you do before you do it! There's nothing wrong with being fans, but it's when you can't think of anything else but that one person/group and I-just-HAVE-to-meet-them-or-else-I'll-die attitude that you should started thinking about why you're so obsessed.
To the Hanson obsessed: We understand why you're obsessed with Hanson. They're very talented with out-going personalities and yes, they're cute. We want to meet them, too!! And although I (Carley) do go overboard at school when I'm depressed about stuff (which is often), I do have other interests, too. When was the last time your friends talked about what they wanted to talk about, rather than what you wanted to talk about? Honestly ask yourself that question. If your friends are obsessed with Hanson too, then that doesn't count! A quote taken from the All About You magazine:

"Let's face it, not even one of those cute Hanson boys could fulfill all your needs."
Maybe that sounds ridiculous to you right now, but it won't once you've gotten over the initial obsession, which by the way, we hope is soon! You'll probably be much happier that way, anyways!
