Bryn, Kayla, Juliet, Wade, and Aleia were all in Bryn's car. They were on their way to South Beach where there was a concert. Actually, this concert was more like a family reunion for Bryn because her cousin's group was playing there and she hadn't seen him for over six months now. Bryn parked right on the beach. The five friends got out of the car and walked to the stage.
"I wonder if they are here yet," Kayla said.
"It won't matter if they were or not," Wade said.
Her twin Aleia continued, "We don't have any of those passes." She said pointing to a VIP pass around someone's neck.
Bryn laughed. "Did I forget to mention that?"
"What?" Juliet said eyeing Bryn suspiciously. Bryn went into her purse and grabbed five things and tossed it to her friends. Her friends laughed. "Leave it to Bryn to leave no stone unturned." The girls put their VIP passes around their necks and headed to the back. Bryn saw one the bodyguards that her cousin used.
"Hey, everyone, they are here already."
"Whose here?" a voice from behind said. Bryn turned around. "Justin!"
"Hey girl," her cousin smiled. Behind him were the other four members of the group 'N Sync. He gave Bryn a huge hug.
"Hi," she said. After everyone said their hellos, the ten friends went inside to get out of the sun.
The girls had practically grown up with the group, so they were all good friends. JC was telling Juliet about their last adventure and how some fans got into their hotel rooms. The ten friends were all laughing and messing around when there was a knock on the door. "You guys will be on in an half an hour," some guy from the radio station said.
"OK, we'll get ready," Justin said. "Before you go, could you make sure that these five lovely ladies have front row seats." The guy nodded and gestured for the girls to follow him. The girls all got up.
"Hey, Bryn," Justin yelled. "Happy Birthday."
"Thanks," Bryn replied giving her cousin a look. She knew her cousin too well. He was planning something. The girls were lead to front and center seats.
"Hey, I know you," a girl behind them said. The girls turned around. "You were in the 'I just Wanna Be With You' video."
"Yeah, we were," Kayla answered.
"You guys are so lucky," the girl continued. "How did you guys get to do that?"
"Actually, Justin is Bryn's cousin," Aleia answered.
"You are so lucky to have a cousin that is famous."
"He is just like you and me," Bryn said.
"Just more gorgeous than one else."
"I give her that much," Wade said. "Justin is one of the best looking guys around next to Lance of course." The music started so the girls turned back around and looked at the stage. One by one, the guys came out... first Joey, then Justin, then Chris, then Lance, and finally JC. They started off with 'Tearin' Up My Heart'. When the song finished the guys started introducing themselves.
"You know, today is a very special day," Justin started.
"It is?" JC asked.
"Umm, huh," Justin nodded. "It is someone's birthday today."
"I can't believe he is doing this," Bryn whispered to Kayla who was just laughing her head off.
"Whose birthday is it Justin?" Lance asked.
"Well, my baby cousin is turning 17 day."
"Wait a second, Justin," Joey said. "Baby cousin?"
"Well, I'll always remember her as the little girl with pigtails beating me up."
"Yup, I remember that," JC said. "She was always on the set of the Mickey Mouse Club."
"Always in the way," Justin continued shaking his head. "Well, Happy 17th Birthday, Bryn. Should we sing her happy birthday guys?" At this point Bryn was somewhere in-between a shade of pink and red. The guys sang her happy birthday and continued singing. They sang 5 more songs before they finished. "Thank you everyone. 'N Sync hopes to see you guys again."
"Let's go back stage," Aleia said.
"OK," Kayla said looking at her watch, "but we have to hurry. Bryn has practice in an hour."
