Chapter 18

"Nick, are you going to take the shirt off or not?" Amanda teased him.

Nick blushed. He was still wearing his white T-shirt. "Leave me alone," he said sheepishly. "What Sahar- she is still wearing her shirt," he pointed out.

"Come here, baby," Sahar said making a voice holding her arms out. Nick walked into her arms; she wrapped them around him. "What's wrong?"

"Amanda is making fun of me," he said in a little boy voice.

"Ignore her," Sahar smiled. "We don't need her anyways."

Nick looked at Sahar mischievously, "What are you suggesting, young lady?"

"Oh, I dunno," she smiled. Nick leaned in to kiss her.

"Come on you two," Brian complained. "It is still early. Give it a break!" Nick took Sahar's hand and led her to the towels that Amanda and Brian had placed on the sand. Amanda was putting sun block on Brian's back.

"You know," Nick said thinking out loud. "I haven't seen this new bathing suit you bought with Amanda," Nick told Sahar.

"Really?" Sahar said playing dumb taking the sunblock from Amanda and handing it to Nick. He started spreading it on her back. “Well, maybe if you are a good boy, you’ll get to see it.”

“You are such a tease,” Nick replied.

“I am not!” She defended herself.

“What about last night?” Nick whispered in her ear.

Sahar giggled, “I was sleepy.”

“Amanda and I really don’t need to know what you to did last night or were going to do,” Brian said. “If you two don’t behave yourselves, I’ll be force to split you two apart,” he joked.

“Yes, sir,” Sahar and Nick saluted.

“Enough talk,” Amanda said. “Last one to the water is a rotten egg.” The four friends ran towards the water with Amanda in lead followed by Brian, Nick, and Sahar. While everyone else jumped in, Sahar took her time. “Come on Sahar, hurry up,” Nick called.

“I’m coming. The water’s cold,” she informed. Nick looked at her. “Nicholas, don’t you dare.” Nick ducked underwater and came up behind Sahar. He picked her up carried her to where the water was up to the middle of his stomach. “Nick,” she smiled. “Please put me down.”

“OK,” Nick dropped her in the water. Amanda and Brian were laughing hysterically. Sahar came up from under the water. “I’m sorry,” Nick said innocently, “but you told me to put you down.”

After spending sometime in the water, Amanda announced, “It’s time for me to get a tan. Sahar, you coming?”

“Ahh, no. I think I’ll stay in the water with Nick,” she smiled.

“I’ll go with you, Manda,” Brian replied. The couple walked towards the sand.
