Chapter 1

“Nick slow down,” Brian yelled running.

“Hurry up, B-rok,” Nick yelled he was getting annoyed with Brian. “The faster we finish this stupid exercise program that you got us in, the sooner I get to see Jazz.”

“Oh, the famous Jasmine,” Brian mocked. The guys were in Connecticut for a couple of days. They were in between concerts. “When was the last time you saw her?”

“A years ago. On her 19th birthday,” Nick smiled. Jasmine was his best friend. She was a year younger than Nick. Nick had been on tour with the Backstreet Boys for the past two years, and he hadn’t got a chance to talk to her often. He did call her whenever he could. “Finally, we’re done.” Nick smiled. He went to the hotel and changed and he headed to Jasmine’s house.

Knock…Knock…

“Coming,” Jasmine said walking to the door. She opened the door. She was shocked. “Nicky! How are you?” she said hugging him.

“Better now that I saw you.”

“Come in.,” Jasmine said. “If I knew you were coming I would have cleaned up a little.”

Nick smiled. “You were never a neat person.” Nick noticed some baby clothes on the couch. “What’s that for?”

Jasmine looked at the couch, “Oh, nothing. One of my friend’s is having a baby.” Nick sat on the couch. “Where are the other guys?”

“They couldn’t make it,” Nick lied. The truth was they wanted to come, but Nick wouldn’t let them. “Where’s what’s his name, Jack?”

“Oh,” Jasmine said sadly, “we broke up two weeks ago.” Not before he left me a little gift, she thought to herself.

“Is it bad or do you think you’ll get back together?”

“Oh, it’s bad. I’m not letting him in my house again.” Jasmine looked away. “The truth is he left me,” she said softly.

The radio was on in the other room, “Hey, it’s our song,” Nick smiled when he heard Crush by Jennifer Paige. “May I have this dance?”

Jasmine laughed. “Of course.” The two danced until the song was over. “So, how long are you for?”

“We have one more concert and then we are off for a year,” Nick smiled. “Finally.”

Jasmine got an idea. “Why don’t you stay her for awhile?”

“That would be awesome.” Jasmine felt sick. She got up and ran to the bathroom.

When she got back, Nick asked, “Are you OK?”

“Yeah, I must have had something that didn’t agree with me.” Nick stayed over for another two hours. Afterwards he went back to the hotel, Brian was waiting for them in their room. “So, how did it go?”

“Awesome. She broke up with Jack.”

“Did you tell her?” Brian asked.

“It wasn’t the time her. She broke up with her boyfriend two weeks ago.”

“Let me ask a different question- are you going to tell her?”

“Yeah, when I find the right moment.”

“Nick, you have to tell her you love her, It isn’t fair to you. You can’t keep it inside.”
