Cologne, june 13, 8.05 pm: Hanson starts their first and only concert in Germany.
The 2.500 fans are going out of their minds, when Taylor, Isaac and Zac begin with a fast rocksong.
After 90 minutes it's clear: Hanson has stood their baptism of fire!

"One, two, three, four!" With a cool voice Zac counts to four behind his drumkit. After a frame of a second, the 18 metres broad stage is plunged into a clear white light.
With the rock-oldie "Gimme Some Lovin'" - the original version from the Spencer Davis Group - Hanson starts at 8.05 pm their first und only concert in Germany until now.
Although the venue Kölner Sporthalle with 2.500 fans is only filled up half, the girls are getting totally excited when they look at Zac (12), Isaac (17) and Taylor (15).
They scream, go wild and throw stuffed animals with loveletters on the stage.
Exactly 12 months they waited for this moment: with the #1 hit single "Mmmbop" Hanson started their lightning career in June 1997, but except for some TV appearances the three brothers from Tulsa didn't show their faces in Germany.
Like they announced themselves, Hanson presented themselves - with the help of three live musicians - as a real rockband, who renounces big showgigs and photoshoots, and only have expectations from their groovy sound.
Taylor, Isaac and Zac, who almost completely disappears behind his enormous drumkit, concentrate on their instruments and their singing.
Surprisingly is the impressive and a warm atmosphere providing lightshow, that fitting to the songs lit up the stage in all colors.
After the second song "Thinking Of You" from the album Middle Of Nowhere, Taylor greets the fans behind his keyboard: "Hey guys, we're very happy that we can finally play in Germany. You like some rock 'n' roll?"
Then Isaac hits the first accords of the second.....
