Chapter Three

Soon the Jamieson's were loaded into the Hanson van and on their way to their new home.

Bri reached into her backpack and took out her portable CD player, which had her favourite CD in it, she put on her headphones and switched it on. As she listen to the opening bars of 'Thinking of you' a thought struck her. Tulsa, Hanson, Seven Children, it had to be.......
Bri nudged Sunny, 'Guess what!'
'What?' a bored Sunny replied,
'I think we are moving next door to Hanson!'
'Whatever,' Sunny replied,
'But.......' Bri knew it was useless, Sunny had never even heard Hanson's music.
A few minutes later when Gail turned around to ask if anyone had seen her sunglasses, all four children were fast asleep from Jet Lag.

Sunny was woken as the van slowed to a holt in front of a sad looking house,
'Well this is our new house Kids,' Gail announced
Oh wonderful, Sunny thought, now mum will have another thing to be sad about.
The Jamieson's dragged themselves and their stuff out of the car, after waving goodbye as the van drove into the drive next door, they stumbled into the house.
'So who goes where?' Sunny asked her mother.
'Just wait till I've put this down,' said Gail, ' then I'll show you.'
Bri and Ellie raced up the stairs with new found energy while Sunny stayed behind to help her mother with baby Matt.

Sometimes Sunny felt sad for baby Matt, he was born only 5 months after her dad had died, so never knew him. Just the thought of her dad made Sunny wan't to burst out crying, but her mum was so happy and Sunny didn't want to make her sad again.

When the whole family was up the stairs, Gail gave Matt to Bri to hold and opened up one of the doors, 'Sunny' she said,'your room,'

Sunny walked into her new room while her mother went to show the rest their rooms. Sunny looked around at the cream coloured walls and carpet, then she looked straight across the room, at the bay windows. The curtains and window seat cushions were pastel blue, one of her favourite colours, Sunny went over to the windows and opened them to let fresh air in, her room was kind of musty smelling, but it wasn't dirty or full of dust or anything, her mother had had the whole house cleaned. Sunny turned around and began to move all her furniture the way she wanted it.

'Tay?'
'Yeah, Zac,' Taylor answered, not looking up from the picture he was drawing.
'It looks like a girl has moved into Chris's old room,'
Now Taylor was paying attention, he put down the picture and moved to the window where Zac was already standing.
'Your right,'
'Of course I'm right! Me Zac, Me smart' Zac said putting on a stupid voice.
Taylor pretended to whack him over the head, then they both ran downstairs to help their mother (who had been calling) get ready for visitors.
