We had some interesting discussions at school today. Sam had an original idea for getting a haircut. He suggested that the barber do it while on a horse at full gallop. He called it a riding crop. And if it were a woman she would also need a good hairbrushing.

Tony had an idea for generating energy by having someone in a huge hamster cage and getting swatted as they ran. Sort of a paddle-wheel.

Joe raised an interesting question of what if a cat grew a new tail each time it died. Especially after nine lives.

During show and tell Bob brought in a half dozen of his favorite chairs to show off the technique for renovation and refurbishing seats with cane. It was six of his best.

Mary brought in her new bikini. It was very patriotic. The top was blue and white but she was really proud of her red bottom.

A few of us are thinking about trying out for the budding young architect's prize. Harry already has a great design for a bridge and is probably going to get the "span king" award.

I'm going to design one floor of a multi-story building. We can either make a model of the third story for basketball players or the second story for munchkins. The ceilings have to be different heights and everything else adjusted accordingly.

I've decided to enter the short story contest!
