Eve 6, a band from the outskirts of Los Angeles, does not venture into any musical territory that has not been traiped through before with their self-titled debut effort. But who says that an album needs to be experimental if the album contains solid musicianship and catchy songwriting. Eve 6 is one such album and contains several insanely infectious tunes that play over and over in your head after just one listen. The first single from this album, "Inside Out," well represents this entire album with its melodic base and words that cling right to the melody. "Rendezvous now I'm through with you," the last line from that song's chorus, epitomizes the quick Eve 6 lyrical structure. Highly energetic, Eve 6's self-titled debut proves a worthwhile listen to any fan of punk-inspired pop music.
