About Debbi.

Musical Background.

There's a great band history to be found on Bangle Fandom, in the interview/article database. Info about Debbi can be found throughout the site. Debbi was a member of the Bangs : with Susanna Hoffs (rhythm guitar), Vicki Peterson (lead guitar), and Annette Zilinskas (bass). Debbi was the drummer. They recorded an EP in 1982, before changing their name to the Bangles. The line up of the Bangles was finalised when Michael Steele became the new bassist. With the Bangles Debbi made three further albums, and released twelve singles. Debbi sung lead on two of their single, 'Going Down To Liverpool', (K. Rew) and 'Be With You' - written by Debbi. The Bangles disbanded in late '89, and are certainly missed by their (still) manyfans.
