Musical Background.

Finding info on the River City People is not an easy task! I have very little band info, but if anyone out there knows more, please let me know!

Siobhan Maher was the singer with the River City People, and wrote a number of their songs. The River City People were working on their first album ('This Is The World') during late '89, and it was released in late '90. Their second, and final album, entitled; 'This Is The World' was released in 1991. The other members of the River City People were: Tim Speed (guitars and vocals), Paul Speed (drums), and David Snell (bass). Despite only recording two albums, the RCP have a very large number of songs, which are found on B sides, extras tracks, demo's etc. One such song is 'Cuando Era Joven', a lovely acoustic track which can be found on the CD single of 'Special Way'.
