06/04/99 In it's 2nd week on the charts, "Millennium" sold about half as many copies as it did in it's debut week(over 600,000) and remains at Number 1 on the Billboard 200.
05/30/99 You all probably know this already, but a big congrats to the Boys for making chart history by selling 1.13 million copies of "Millennium" in its first week!!! The album knocked Ricky Martin out of the No. 1 spot on next week's Billboard album chart and broke Garth Brook's record of 1.08 million!

05/07/99 Okay, yesterday I was watching TRL to see what spot the new Backstreet Boys video "I Want It That Way"(which was premeired on Wednesday-May 5th)debuted at and I was VERY disappointed!!! It was at #8!! In the past, their videos have done a lot better than that and you fans need to vote for this video because, I think, it's their best one yet and it deserves to be #1!
04/25/99 Hey! Well, I was at Backstreet.net last night and guess what I found? A page w/ stuff from MILLENNIUM! If you go there you will find- a Track Listing, Sound Clips(from EVERY song on the album!),CD Jacket Pictures(plus their Thank-You's!), & Lyrics. This is the BOMB, you really should go there!
04/09/99 The release date for the new live CD from the Backstreet Boys, called "Homecoming-Live In Orlando" (which was recorded on December 31, 1998 at their New Year's Eve show in Orlando) is said to be April 27, 1999.
On April 1st and 2nd the BSB filmed the video for the song "I Want It That Way" and it will be delivered to MTV on April 23rd. The single is released on the radio on April 12th and it hits the stores on April 26th.
On May 11th (I think that's the date) the guys will be taping the Disney Concert Special at the New Amsterdamn Theatre in Times Square, NY. It should air sometime in
June.

02/26/99 Okay, BSB were at the Grammys but stupid Lauryn Hill won for Best New Artist instead of them!! I don't see why everyone likes her so much, personally, I think she sux!! But, anyways, the BSB presented an award. That's all. They didn't show my boys enough...

12/27/98 I have lots of news! Here it is:
*A stagehand filed a $3 million lawsuit against the Backstreet Boys, saying that he was injured by a 50 pound cannon that fell on his head. Michael Barrett, 22, filed the lawsuit Tuesday in Prince William County Circuit Court seeking damages from the five-member group for injuries and emotional distress. Gary Exner, another stagehand, was also named as a defendant. Exner could not be reached for comment and band spokeswoman Sonya Muckle did not return a phone message or respond to a faxed list of questions. Barrett, of Alexandria, was working backstage at Nissan Pavilion after a concert July 16. A line suspending the cannon _ a stage prop that fires confetti_ was untied after the show, ``causing it to descend to the stage below at great speed, according to the lawsuit. Of course, this was not the BSB fault, I'll let you know if I get any more info on this.
*According to a German tv report, Aaron will record his new single in the US early next year. The last thing I heard was that his album will be released around February 1999.
*In an interview that the BSB did with Bravo magazine when they were in Germany end of November, Nick reveals that for the first time in his life he has a girlfriend, and that he is very much in love...... He didn't want to tell her name as they have only been together for a couple of weeks now. He met her in Tampa. She is also a singer and Nick expects her to have her breakthrough very soon. He also said that she is blond and that she looks very much like his sister BJ. Then he confirmed that she is NOT a singer in Innosense.
*In the same interview, Nick says that he will not move to Los Angeles with his family. Two months ago he bought his own house in Tampa. The reason he will not move is that it would be to difficult to combine living in LA with being a member of the BSB. However he will often fly to LA to be with his family! Howie added that all of them bought houses in FLorida this year. They planned this for quite some time, but this year they finally managed to do so, as they spent a bit more time in the US than before!
*During Aaron's recent Germany tour beginning of December, his 12 year old sister Leslie made her singing debut!! On stage she sang "Merry Christmas Darling". She was also on stage while Aaron sang "I will be yours". Aaron was on tour with his dad, Leslie, BJ and his grandmother Jean. His mother Jane and sister Angel stayed at home in the US to arrange the moving to LA.

09/07/98 We went to a BSB concert yesterday! It was AWESOME! But before the concert we went to the mall to kill some time and we saw AJ there! He was in the food court eating at McDonalds! It was so cool! We got pictures and they'll be up as soon as we get the chance to scan them.
