Now that Geri is gone, the Spice Girls have had to become the Pies
Girls. They've changed their Spice Names to their new Berry Filling Names.
What did they have to say about this name change?
"People are always saying that I never smile,
so it was absolutely fitting that I should be BlueBerry. It sounds so elegant,
don't you think?" "I don't know about being called BlackBerry
but it's better than what Geri used to call me when she would throw a hissy." "I love being RaspBerry! Now I have my own
gimmic, I'll yell 'Who's your favorite Pies Girl?' and everyone gives us
a Raspberry. It's really cute!" "I'm just glad that I can now be called
by my favorite Lolly flavor." Their new album "Slice" contains a remake of an old song which they've renamed "Slice Up Your Pie." Other new tracks include, Pie in the Sky, If You Can't Bake, The Lady is a Berry, Don't Need No Ginger to Bake This Pie, and Pie ala England. We recently caught up to Geri the ex Spice Girl and asked what she thought about the new names. "Very original and creative, but it sounds
