Lena's Story
I'd liked 3T for ages and was desparate to see them in concert but as I live
in England it seemed as if the chances of that happening were slim.I was
amazed to find that the boys were touring during March so I asked my friends
whether they wanted to go they didn't seem too bothered but I got them to say
yes.The only thing was that I was going to Germany for 2 weeks the next day
and I was worried that if I didn't get the tickets before I went by the time
I came back to England that all the tickets would be sold out.So I bought 3
tickets for the 3T concert at Birmingham NEC.The tickets were as close as
possible, on the side one block away from the stage.
The night came and my friends and I were really excited.I didn't really
notice the support acts as I was so hyped about seeing my little baby Taj (My
friends like TJ and Taryll) When they arrived on stage I couldn't believe how
close I was to them I could see their facial expressions! The best bit was
when Taj went to the back of the stage which we could see from our seats,my 2
friends were busy watching the other 2 so I decided to smile at Taj and give
him a wave.He did the same back,I think it was to me as there was nobody near
me at the time!
I was sooo happy That I talked about it all the way home (I live 3 hours away
from Birmingham).
Well that was it I just had to see them again especially my little Taj.So the
next Saturday I asked my mum if I could go again she said yes.So I got a
ticket (just 1)
for me to see them again,only this time the whole family had to take me and
turn the concert I was going into a holiday as the ticket was for the Glasgow
SECC (12 hours away from my house).I got it a week before the concert and
didn't care how far away I was from them as long as I was in the same room as
them!
I was excited and nervous going to the SECC as I didn't know the setup at the
SECC and of course I was on my own.I was shown to my seat and couldn't
believe it, my seat was 3 rows from the stage! How lucky!
I settled myself down and made a friend with the girl in the next seat.The
concert at Glasgow was better than the one at Birmingham for me as I was
nearer to the stage and it was their last British date.
During the show I was dumbstruck during one number because I was playing the
air guitar whilst Taryll was playing his real guitar and he came to our end
of the stage and started smiling and laughing at me for pretending to play
along with him.Also during one song my little Taj looked across at our part
of the audience whilst TJ was singing,again he was at the back of the
stage,so I smiled and gave him a little wave and he did the same back (I
wonder whether he remembered me?) !
Yet again I was in heaven.I cried my eyes out at the end of the concert as I
knew this was the last time that I was going to see them for ages and that I
probably wouldn't be that close to them ever again (that thought still
depresses me!).
You may think I'm crazy but I really would do "Anything" for 3T!
