the cranberries will be appearing on a special on pbs on august 16. the show will be showing the cranberries live on tour. be sure to check it out!!
it is said that dolores' new house is just about finished. it is in west Kerry Gaeltacht. it is referres to as a "mansion" by local neighbors considering the fine stone work and rounded tower in the house, making it look like somewhat of a castle. of course there are also warning signs in the driveway to warn curious people that they shouldn't be there.
new album out in november? possibly. highly unlikely, although many different people have said that will be its release date. i doubt it will be due to the fact that dolores' baby is due that month. i predict it comes out in february or march, but still if it did come out in november that would awesome!

dolores and noel are working on their version of "go your own way", a fleetwood mac song, which will appear on a fleetwood mac tribute album. no release date as of yet. noel and his wife opened a new cafe in limerick called "portyls". the supposed new live video that was going to come out this summer will NOT be released anymore. also, there may soon be a new section added to the rebels homepage. i have an idea as to what it will be, but i would like to take requests from you on what the new section should be.
there has been some fake messages going around from people claiming to be the berries, but actually aren't. just ignore them. also someone has reported to have gotten a new book at sam goody wich features "best of songs".
DOLORES O'RIORDAN of Irish rockers THE CRANBERRIES is expecting a baby. The delighted singer told guests at the wedding of drummer FERGAL LAWLER earlier this week that she was nearly three months pregnant. But a spokeswoman for the band said it won't prevent her from joining up with the rest of the group later this year to write and record their new album. She adds, "Dolores and hubby DON are absolutely delighted. She is glowing and she is really looking forward to becoming a mum. She can't wait." O'Riordan is still receiving physio-treatment for a recurring knee injury that forced her to cancel much of the group's world tour last year. The band are currently on a long break and don't plan to get back together until the autumn. O'Riordan's baby is due in November. She and Don currently divide their time between their house in Canada and their hideaway home in Ireland. Also Mike, the bassist, is engaged to be married. wow!
there will be a new live video released in june/july that was recorded in the 1996 free to decide tour. also the berries will be recording for the new album in june/july. scheduled release is late 1997/early 1998. also supposedly a new ttfd music book has been released and and a new "anthology" book will come soon.
There is a new Dolores O'Riordan song called God Be With You which comes out on April 1 on a soundtrack to the movie The Devil's Own staring Brad Pitt. A sound clip of the new song can be found at Planet Cranberries. 3/24/97
