When you wake up I will be gone

Author's note: I know Darren dosent drink, I have never met Darren or Daniel(but of course I hope too ) I dont think this is an offensive FanFic(and that is all it is, a strict fanfic(fan fiction) If I do offend anyone, I'm soory :). Well enjoy!!!

Darren woke up with a slight headache. He sat up slowly and saw Obie laying at the foot of his bed, like always, but no Colby. Darren got up and shewed Obie off the bed and stammered into the bathroom. He washed his face, combed his hair, and went downstairs for breakfast. He expected to smell bacon and eggs, and to have a friendly greeting by Colby as soon as he entered the Kitchen. But it was surprisingly vacant. Trying to recap the events of the previosue evening, Darren poured himself some cereal and a glass of O.J. Everything was all blury, he remembered sitting at a pub with Daniel and having a few drinks.......but thats all he can remember. He finished his lone breakfast and went upstairs to get changed for his interview with 'Ugly Phil'.

He threw on a black t-shirt and some Jeans grabbed his keys and cell phone and left the house. He threw the phone into the car and reolized he hadnt fed Obie, closing his door he ran back inside and did so. By the time he got back out side his Cell phone was ringing. He ran to the car and grabbeed it. Out of breath he managed a "Hello?" "Darrren!!!" It was his best friend and collegue Daniel. "Yeah it's me who where you expecting Bono?" He said in the light humored way of his "Ha ha very funny, where are you?" Daniel sounded a slight bit peeved ." I'm in my drive way, why?" "Your late thats why!!" "No I'm not it's only...(looking at his watch, it read 10:30 and he was supposed to pick Daniel up at 10) OH...sorry bud I'm on my way." "Ive been calling you for the past half hour, your line is busy..I guess it's still off the hook from last night huh?" sounding a bit confused. "What are you talking about, last night?...I was feeding Obie I'll be right there ok?" " Ok ok just hurry" "Whats your rush?" "WHATS MY RUSH????!!! The Ugly Phil's interview's at 11 and we have to get to the air port at 12!!! thats my rush!!!" "OH..yeah..I forgot sorry..where would I be without you? Lemme grab my suitcase and I'll be right there." "GOD where would you be without me?" "Ok sorry I'll see you soon bye!" "You'd better" Click ..Darren walked back into the house for the second time that morning and grabbed his suitcase. It seemed awfully stuffed......"Oh well" he thought locked the door threw his bag in the trunk and was off to Daniels"
