1. Mr Buckley-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: I(Patrick)wrote this song about me and Thads great religion teacher at CBC. Mr. Buckley inspired our band by calling us hoosiers and druggies. We love Mr. Buckley, we would kill for him. He plays bagpipes, though we tried to get him in our band he refused because he is too old, but we never really asked, we dont really want him in our band anyway. But I still owe him much respect for passing me even though I know I flunked. Thankx Mr. Jack Buckley! (this was our first song ever preformed by M.S.T.,and is still one of our favorites)
2. Cowflop(the ya song)-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: I really don't know what this song is about. I think I just wrote down shit lyrics. I basicly wrote this song to insite the crowd. It has a cool sing-along part with a bunch of "YA"'s in it. Its a cool song.
3. Wading Pool-Words: Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: I wrote this song while i was waiting for this girl to call me. She eventually did but only after the song said some bad stuff(not really). Its a really cool song because its kind of hardcore...thats why matt likes it. Its got this really fast part in it thats very rowdy.
4. Uglychick-Words:Jose Kimbro, and Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: This song was written by our good friend Jose and I after a fun evening of hanging out with this really ugly girl. Jose was going to be in our band at one point but didn't and gave us the rights to this song. Thank you Jose. This song is mean and we usually dedicate it to the ugliest girl at our shows.
5. Preppies Suck(the hardcore song)-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: I wrote this song about the jocks and preps at CBC, and how much I dislike CBC. This song isn't really that hardcore its more like 80's punkrock. We just call it the hardcore song because it was our most hardcore song at the time it was written. This song it evil. You should have seen the look on the peoples faces at "The Beef Social"
6. Somethan'-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: Have you ever woke up in the morning and felt like a new person? Well I did when i woke up in the morning one time, I guess I must of had a kinky dream, and just wrote this song. Its a punk song and its very bonerious. Cuz we're a punk band!
7. Growin' Up-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: The name kind of tells you what the song is about, but there is more. Its about my neigbors too. Its about just about life and how things change and get more complicated as you grow older. Its not as deep as i discribed it though. Matt always confuses this song with Somethan...I dont know why I told you that but....We'er a punk band!
8. Try-To-Be-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: This song was origianally preformed by the shampoo sharks, but i wrote it so i kept it. We play it now and its about this guy who used to do everything I did. You know those people. They make me mad so i wrote a song about it. Derrick sings in this one so listen for him.
9. Bezerk-Words:Meric(Minkis)of the Shampoo Sharks, Music:Patrick and Minkis: This songs kind of unique because of the sharks skaness and our punk....I guess that would be ska/punk..thats not unique. The songs cool because it sounds like a Mainstream Shark. This song was written when I was in a band with Minkis (the Narcoleptics) we didn't get to far because his parents hate me, but I don't care. The songs about a guy going Bizerk over a women that listens to country music. Minkis bestowed this song upon MST because I let him borrow my portable recording studio.
10. 3 Days-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: I wrote this song about this girl that I used to love. Its about when I really liked her and she didn't feel the same way about me. It's about how you feel when you try to tell her about your feelings and they don't come out right.
11. Virgel-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: Virgel was a guy who was very close to me and my friends. He got drunk one night and got hauled off to jail and we havent seen him since. The songs about what happened one night he got drunk. A night that changed all our lives.<--sounds like something out of the babysitters club.
12. Mainstream Trash-Words:Thad, Music:M.S.T.: This is regarded as our band's theme song. It captures the pure mayhem of when we start playing and gets us all in a rowdy mood. The lyrics reflect on how unoriginal certain types of music can be, as well as the people who play it. This is usually our opening song, as we hope it will have a crazy effect on the listener. Get into it fucker.
13. Bleak Outlook-Words:Thad, Music:M.S.T.: A song reflecting on life through the eyes of a constantly pissed off person, and how having a bleak outlook towards life can sometimes be good.
14. El Lago De Bid-Words:Thad, Music:M.S.T.:An anthem dedicated to a bitch only nature could create. This girl is very annoying, controlling, and over all just a crazy bitch... the most fucked up part is that I liked her at one point too. Eww.
15. Peas-Words:Thad, Music:M.S.T.: I wrote this song about my old friend from grade school back when I used to have a crush on her... but now i don't anymore so it's cool.
16. Choke-Words:Thad, Music:M.S.T.: This song was about a relationship that first started out wonderful but after a bit started nagging at me and once she moved away, the girl still wanted the relationship to continue... it started developing to a huge pain in the ass, worse than a case of raging jungle hemorrhoids.
17. I Wanna be Punk-Words:Thad, Music:M.S.T.: A melodic, fast punk song about good old fashioned punks and wanting to be one. It speaks of spikey hair and belts and not giving a fuck about authority and what not. Very bonerous. (Bonerous means good.)
18. Happy -Words:Thad, Music:M.S.T.: A song about life and the trials and tribulations of constant downfalls I have experienced in my short time on this earth.
19. Government Hands-Words: Patrick and Thad, Music:M.S.T.: Another stereotypical punk song about Uncle Sam taking your paycheck by the hips and screaming "Who's yo daddy?!??" while he takes half of your hard earned dollars. A very short song too if I might add. It's special because the afroed one (Derrick) sings on it.
20. Fuck That Shit (Going Home)-Words:Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: I wrote this song when I was at the most fucked up piont in my life. I had just got in a big fight with my mom and moved in with my dad. I hated my Overland house and never wanted to go back. This song was written in the backseat of a van the day after a party(we had slept in the van). When I woke up I wrote this song. I have the best inspiration right when I wake up. The songs about how I don't ever want to be tied down and how I wish to live by myself. I only got two years to wait. This is usually the last song we play live because of its great ability of having the last song sound and how we want to play longer and not go home. Thats the end of the song meanings and I hope you enjoyed a little creep into the minds of the songwritters of MST.
21. Only 16 -Words: Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: This is a kind of trendy punk song about wanting to get the hell out of the house and never come back, but you can't, but you can, you're just a pussy. Its about meeting people the way you see things, and growing up.
22. Shitbags -Words: Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: If you listen to the words of this song they really arent about anything at all, and they make no sense. Life is an endless ball of shit wrapped up in a pretty box and put out into the yard. Any sense? Actually its about my mom asking me to take out the trash, and I take out my life instead that has been smashed into a ball and put in a bag that noone can see into.
23. Hang Her Up -Words: Patrick, Music:M.S.T.: A hardcorish/emo/rock song about this girl named Roxanne, a come and go love of my life that wasnt ready for a relationship. At first I thought she didnt give a fuck about me and I gave up on her, but we finally talked about it. It turned out that I wasnt ready for a relationship either, and I'd never hang her up (as a friend).
24. Change-Up -Words:Thad Music: M.S.T.: This song is kind of about a tunafish trying to mate with a banana in thunderstorm season. Not really, actually its about me (the tunafish) and this girl (the banana) in a relationship that was constantly suffering from both of our insecurities within ourselves. The tunafish had his own doubts, as so did the banana. Well, as we can all tell from sandwich preferences, tunafish and banana are not a good combination. Thats how it goes.
25. To Understand Words: Thad Music:M.S.T.: A song describing how irritating society's and my personal routine are. No matter how useless or irrational the routines are, we all follow them every day, regardless of whether we question it or not. Fuck routine.
26. Hateful Truth: Words:Thad Music:M.S.T.: This is another one about people trying to find themselves among so many fuckers just like them, or possibly individuals finding themselves in a spot where they realize everything is so different from everyone, and everything in their life is so segregated by bullshit and politics and donkey kong that they go crazy, or just get reallly pissed at the way things are going.
27. Love Song #1: Words:Thad Music:M.S.T.: A girl Ram has spent the past 6 months with and continues to do so is the topic of this song. It expresses all those fruity mushy ass feelings that noone likes to admit they have.
28. Honkus: Words:Thad Music:M.S.T.: Honkus started off as a song about something as useless and unpurposeful as the town/city/world/universe being filled with selfish ignorant pricks (present company included), as I've gathered from whenever I'm driving. Anyways, the song, as all songs authored by Thad do, turn to a downbeat and start to talk about all the bullshit in the world. (Like every song authored by Thad!)
29. Pork-A-Pine: Words:Patrick and Chris S. Music:M.S.T.: This song is about Nate eating plastic soldiers and them retaliating. This might be a hidden track somewhere.
30. Eat My Pussy: Words:Chris S. Music:Chris S.: A song about closing at Mr. Goodcents with the manager Mike Goede. A song about 5 seconds long, its a spoken word song. Basically, in a weird fast voice Chris says, "Goede, Eat My Pussy!" ... This song is usually followed by a 'vagina salute' at shows.
