A VIEW TO A KILL

This video marks the beginning of the band's large repetoire of music videos. Could do without all the ruffles on the shirts. Simon looks terrific without a shirt! Shows potential for true masterpieces of video presentation.


They barely show the band, and i hate all the nude women. Definitely not a video i care to watch.


CARELESS MEMORIES

Pretty good video considering it's only the band's second video. John flashes the cutest smile at beginning of video. Simon wears leather pants again(not that I'm complaining). Nick goes from one extreme to the other in hair color. In PLANET EARTH, it's white and this video it's black.


One of my favorite videos just for the mere fact that the guys(except Andy)look hot. Love Simon's leather outfit and red headband. Love it when Simon is laying on the ground and "growls" at the women. Nick has a great smile.


(WAITING FOR THE)NIGHTBOAT

One of my favorites. John looks cute. He is wearing his "trademark" fedora. Simon does a fantastic job of reciting Shakespeare. At one point, Simon has "Ozzy Osbourne" eyes as he walks towards the boat. Poor Roger gets left behind on the island at the end.


Part color and part B&W. Simon starts to show off his "romantic" side. One of the few videos where Andy looks good. They barely show Nick in this video, if at all.


This is the video that truly hooked me as a fan. One of their first videos that seemed like a "mimi-movie" instead of just performing in front of a few cameras. Love the torn clothes that Simon wears. He is too sexy for his own good. John looks cute.


Another of my favorite videos. Lots of "cute/sexy" moments in this video:A very tan Simon falling off the dock wearing a speedo, Simon riding a horse, John diving into the sand and flashing his mischievious smile, Simon jumping out of the water, "Rio" winking and smiling at Simon's butt, and John "helping" Andy overboard. A classic video.

Courtney:"I love how they look like they are having so much fun especially at the end of the video, we get to see all their beautiful smiles."


Another classic video. Beautiful scenery of Sri Lanka(and the guys). The white pants that Simon wears at end of video make his butt look so squeezable! Hate Andy's hair. Like when Nick and John are on elephant and get sprayed by water.


A black and white video. None of the guys are in it, which REALLY sucks! I hate this video, even more than GIRLS ON FILM.Should of had Simon and John in it.


Love Simon's hair in this video. Nick looks very pale. I think whoever came up with the idea for this video had played a few too many games of Q-Bert! The song is good, but the video has no purpose other than showing off the guys. At the beginning of the video it looks like Simon is walking through giant strands of hair. Also, in the middle of the video, it looks like Simon is tapping a fork in his hand...what is a fork doing in this video?


John and Simon look the best. Kind of strange video, but they follow up with stranger. Whoever did Roger's hair should be shot! His hair was fine, and someone went and gave him a small mohawk with lightbrown highlights. Lots of weirdly-dressed people.


An OK video. Simon looks great as usual. I think the guys look silly jumping around at the end. Funny though when a horse almost knocks Simon over.


A great video. Since I've never had the chance to see them live, this will have to do for now. They don't show Roger enough. Love it when Simon is dancing around the columns. I remember when I was younger watching for the water to come out of the video screen over the stage.


This is one of the strangest videos ever made. Simon looks sexy with the long blond hair(can you say WOW?). I was 13 when i first saw this, and even at that age was intrigued at the idea of Simon being tied down. I guess I was into bondage even back then(or LeBondage...haha). Also love John strapped to the car while images of him flash on a screen over his head.


Even though I think Simon's hair is too short, he still looks good. Nick's makeup is fine, but don't care for his hair. John looks kinda pudgy around the middle, but maybe it's the pants that make him look chubby. Favorite part is when he "shoots" a telescope-turned-gun then flashes a cute mischievious smile and raises his eyebrow. Also funny when Simon says "Bon...Simon LeBon."


ELECTION DAY

Is my favorite song from SO RED THE ROSE. Very unusual video, but then again "unusual" videos aren't unusual for the guys. Simon looks great with black hair, Nick looks wierd. In my opinion, black hair and pink lipstick don't go together(ESPECIALLY on a guy). Lots of scantly-clad women in the video, but no big surprise there.


GOODBYE IS FOREVER

Another weird video(surprise, surprise). Simon's face looks a little chubbier than usual, but other than that, he still looks good. At least Nick's hair is shorter. Favorite part is Simon tied to the clock


Kind of a mini-movie of sorts. Very funny video with all the mishaps Simon has to endure. Looks silly in the glasses. Kind of reminds me of the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW without the transvestites.


Simon looks great, but i don't get the "meaning" behind the song or the video.


MISSING

The guys aren't in this video. To me, it's very similar to ALL SHE WANTS IS video.Not my favorite.


All three of the guys look great in this video. I usually ignore all the dancing models. OK video.


MEET 'EL PRESIDENTE'

The flashing images at start of video annoy me. Nick is the best-dressed of the group. But of course Simon and John also look smashing.


At first this video used to annoy me with all the flashing colors, but now i can ignore them. Simon looks his best in this video. John also looks his best. Very sexy when John raises his eyebrow. Nick looks good with that head-wrap. Also like it when John lays his head on Simon's shoulder and Nick is behind them.


When Simon is shown at the podium from far away he looks ok with the longer hair, but up close his hair looks dirty. Don't care for Warren's hair. This video is the first time I notice John's ear is pierced. Don't get the purpose of the dancing couple. Like Nick's hair, but he looks pale without the makeup.


Nick's hair is the most decent of the three. John's hair is too dark and Simon looks like he had been electrocuted. An OK video, similar to MISSING video. Like the song better than the video.


I used to not like Simon's hair long and wavy, but the more I see this video, the more I love his hair. Nick looks the best of the three. He has a very nice smile. John looks pale.


LOVE this song and video because it's so upbeat. All the guys look great. Only complaint is all the women.


Simon's hair is too short, other than that he still looks fine. John looks great. Actually they all look great except for Sterling. Cute moment when Simon has his arm around John.

A beautifully-done video. Simon's body language just adds depth to the song. One of the band's best videos.


Very colorful hair on John and Nick. Warren is actually wearing more clothes than Simon(not that I'm complaining or anything). Simon is hooked up to some weird machine on stage.


BREATH AFTER BREATH

Simon looks awesome in this video. Love the cut-off shorts. OK song. Warren and John aren't shown enough.


This is a great video! All the guys look great, even with the ruffled shirts. Love Simon's hair and the way he motions with his hands throughout the video. The only thing i don't get is what's that red stuff that explodes in the water at beginning of the video?


Not fond of Simon's stark white hair. It seems like they are in a brothel of sorts throughout most of the video. The women immediately swarm over Simon, Warren,and John(i wonder why?)At least ONE woman pays attention to Nick.


WHITE LINES

First off, I never in a million years would have associated DD with rap/hip-hop!Love all the leather...mmm! I think Duran Duran's version of this song is way better than the original performed by Grand Master Flash & Furious Five(who appear in video and provide backing vocals).Unfortunately John "lived" this song.


PERFECT DAY

Great video even though it's very simple. John looks great, but is apart from group throughout the video. To me, the best part of video is seeing Roger Taylor playing drums again. Wish he would rejoin!


I don't think this video is demeaning to women(I'm directing this statement to all you "femme-nazis" who take insult to every nit-picky reference to women in videos). I laugh when Nick puts the makeup on the female robot. After all,he is the makeup expert of the group...Simon's green shirt and tie are hideous. Nick can't seem to decide on a haircolor, so he went for the "easter-egg" look(orange AND yellow).


Cool but strange video.They make great-looking ghosts...Simon must get some thrill out of being chained/tied up in several videos. It's gross when some stuff comes out of Warren's ear. Nick is wearing a 17th century-era hoop dress and white powder wig in parts of the video. At the end of the video Nick has some yucky yellow stuff on his head and kissing a woman/thing.


BURNING THE GROUND

Basically this song and video is made up of snippets of earlier songs and videos, with a few new lines/scenes mixed in.Didn't take to much brainpower to put this together. I'm NOT saying the guys are dumb!
