I found this in the *N Sync and Friends magazine, article #1 Joshua, August 8, 1976, in Washington DC, grew up in Maryland and at the age of 13 decided he preferred acting cool t ostuddying. His mom Karen didn't know what to do with her son until she heard the MGM Studios at Disney World were searching for talented young people to act in a kid's film. So Karen Chasez picked up her son and flew to Orlando. His first audition didn't work out, becuase JC wasn't the right age for the role being cast, but the casting director was so impressed he sent the youngster to another director. After 10 hours of waiting around in a back lot, JC was picked from a huge crowd af ambitious applicants--over 500!--and given a role in the Mickey Mouse Club. Today JC, whom teachers back in Maryland called "Lazy", is called ![]() JC loves playing football, basketball, listening to Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, or watching his fave film, Which is Star Wars. He also collects menusfrom famous Hard Rock Cafes all over the world. JC is quick to point out that it was Mickey Mouse who gave him the chance to be what he is today. There's no way to get *N Sync without JC's amazing voice and performance! He's also very grateful to his dad, who moved to Orlando when JC was hired at Disney, and to his mom, who took him to Orlando in the first place. E-mail me:raspberrytigger@hotmail.com |
