News on The Ill Na Na

October 10th

Taken From MTV:Just when we all thought that East and West Coast rap factions had made their peace, along comes rapper Kurupt of the left coast's Dogg Pound with his second solo album, "Streetz." The LP features the track "Calling Out Names," in which the rapper tears into New York's DMX for allegedly putting the moves on Kurupt's ex-fiancée, Foxy Brown. Why bring this sort of brawl onto a record? Here's Kurupt's explanation. "My specialty is battle rap," Kurupt told MTV News. "My specialty is raw on the mic. I eat, live, shit chewing up MCs. I'm a real MC. And I'm a real man. Respect me, man. Respect the dogg." Press flacks for DMX (who's married) and for Foxy Brown had no response to "Calling Out Names." The album will be released on November 16.

Also RightON Magazine reports that, "Foxy Brown and her former boyfriend, Kurupt, allegedly got into a huge fight in front of people in a Miami club where they were in town for a record label convention. Her brother jumped in to defend her and things got worse..."

Well MTV is making seem like the only reason why this song was made because DMX was trying to pull Foxy. Well lets see the response from both Foxy and DMX. Well now the breakup is now official. We'll just have to wait.

It seems like Foxy Brown is a single woman now. Apparently, things did not work out between her and Kurupt. Well in this new song, he disses her, The Firm, Ruff Ryders except EVE, and the movie Belly. So Miss Brown is a single woman now. August 31st

I got the hot new edited/single version of "Na Na Be Like". So, for all you people who was concern with the foul language, well the song is still hot with the hook edited and some words bleep out. Call me crazy, but I think Foxy Brown is directing some lines toward a certain female. Check this out, "Snitches want to test my aim/I spray sick, like lunatics/You better keep pushing your sh!t back/ You not threathen me yet" "You think you nice/then get behind my verse" Then Pretty Boy goes on to say "Take That".... Listen to the lyrics carefully, she is talking that other female rapper. Also listen to the hook, she says something about she started this shit and bitches want to get her flow. Tell me what you think? It's pretty obvious to me.....Well enjoy! August 26th

I just added a hot new song by Foxy Brown. This by far is the best song that I heard from Foxy, using her new voice. On the second verse she uses a accent, this song is definitely a club song. The beat is also very hot. I went to Epic records, which the Blue Streak Soundtrack is on, but their was no mention of this song being released. I believe Ja Rule, Tyrese, and somebody's elses song will be release. So who knows, but I like the song though.

Foxy has another cover with a magazine called, Paper. MTV reports that this article reveals a lot of Foxy, and may be a little "cheeky", if you know what they mean. Don't even ask me what the "Essence" article was about and how it relates, I have no clue. Well she looks very nice again. Foxy Brown is getting major attention. She talks about how she may end her career note in modeling, which is not a bad idea. At first I thought this was a joke, but apparently it is not. Foxy Brown's ad in New York has been causing traffic accidents, folks can't even drive when they see her. She also talks about some other stuff.

The song on The Blue Streak Soundtrack, is called "Na Na Be Like", thanks to Wendy and Bobby Digital for that information. I haven't heard the new song, so I don't know if it is single release material. It may just be a filler for the album.

Also, I do not believe these rumors floating around that Foxy Brown will release an album in October. First of all Foxy has been on tour, basically since May. Second, Def Jam is talking about bombing December with releases from Jay Z, Redman, DMX, and others. Foxy Brown is not included in this either. So folks just chill out, because their will not be an album until at least 2000.

Make sure you pick up the "Paper" magazine with Foxy Brown on the cover and also check out the the song "Westcoast" on the front pages. Till next time.

August 14th

I'm sure some of you are jamming to that new song, "Girl's Best Friend" by Jay Z. Its the first single off the soundtrack of Martin Lawrence's upcoming movie Blue Streak. Another incentive to go out and get this soundtrack is that Foxy Brown will also appear on the soundtrack. I have no idea what the song is called or have I heard it. But as soon as the soundtrack listing is out I will get that information to you. So people who are feening for music, hold on the album supposedly will be in stores August 30th. Also featured on the soundtrack is Kelly Price, TQ, Krayzie bone, Keith Sweat featuring Da Brat and others.

In other interesting news, I got my hands on a song called "Westcoast Bitches" its by Shyne featuring Foxy Brown. Yes I did say Shyne featuring Foxy Brown. I would make a joke (Biggie soundlike with), but I like Foxy Brown too much to even go there. Its nice, but nothing special and I'm not sure where it will end up either. Yes its the "Chyna Doll" Foxy Brown, with her raunchy lyrics. So, this song is not the new Foxy Brown. I will try to put it up in Real Audio, but thats only if you want it up. So if you want me to put it up let me know. I still don't know whats the deal with Foxy, Puffy, and Badboy. Whoever gets the "Forever" album on the 24th, let me know if Puffy shoutouts to Foxy Brown.

I been hearing only good news from the Foxy Brown tour that she put together. For one its her tour, and if you didn't like her you wouldn't attend. So forget those R. Kelly tour comments. I've heard she's been rapping a new song called "Nana Delight". I've heard its pretty tight. Hope to hear it one day. Then she's been performing a lot of old and new songs. So, I'm glad the tour is going well. Actually there was some drama on the Westcoast, when a guy slapped his girl. Foxy stopped the show and told him that was real foul of him. Then someone threw a water bottle at her, then Foxy quickly got off stage. But other than that drama its going well.

If you pick up the new Source with Puffy on the cover, you can see a picture of Foxy's DJ. Actually her DJ is a rapper in a group called "1 Life 2 Live" (named after the soap opera). The guy name is Red in the group that is her DJ. The Source does an article on the group, and there is a female rapper named Babe Blue. She is nice, you can hear her on Timbaland's album, so I'm glad that Foxy is down with them. Actually I think the group has been touring with Fox Brown. Also in The Source, on the second page is the new ads with Foxy Brown modeling for Calvin Klein. Also you can catch the ads in VIBE.

On Rap City last week, Kurupt and the Dogg Pound was on, but nothing was mentioned about Foxy. But at the end of the show, Kurupt sayshe has kids to feed. Maybe he is talking about friends or family, but I'm still like what kids are you talking about. LOL

There is a rapper out called 50 Cents, he has a song out called "Skemes of Robbing an Industry Nigga". He mentions Foxy Brown, he goes on to say how he would rob Foxy of the rock that Kurupt brought her. The song is not serious listen to the chorus, it tells you. So he was having a little fun with Foxy Brown and Kurupt. I can put up that song in Real Audio, if you want me too also. Again let me know.

Well thats should be plenty of Foxy news for you, I will update as soon as I get more.

July 9th :

Foxy Brown's little brother Pretty Boy has made a lot of changes in his life recently, he told Vibe Online Wednesday.
