Dub Narcotic Sound System/ ICU/ Kicking Giant/ Miranda

Miranda: was more of a wierd dialog and film/slide performance art piece with electronic tweaking sounds. It gave the mood for the rest of the night. Kicking Giant: Jangly pop guitar with a drums period. Sweet, simple, and making you sweat. ICU: Tripped up and spaced out. Keyboard, Stand-up bass, and a DJ who also played a little guitar and thermin. Groovy acid jazz type stuff, think Red Snapper or in that same neighborhood. Dub Narcotic Sound System: Calvin started off the set with a couple of solo acoustic songs which was pretty cool since, somebody pulled out the light switch so he played them in the dark. They finally plugged the light back in and rocked the house. Their not the best funk band but they definitely make up for it in Wierdness and kick'in ass. Kick ass show even though it started off late.
