k Things are happening at the Kula camp! Read the new Kula bio at the official website, with news about the 2nd album and a lovely pic of the lads. There's also what appears to be a very surreal pic of the 1st single, Mystical Machine Gun.

k The website now has a message board.
k News from the official website:
The new Kula Shaker single will be called "Mystical Machine Gun" and is released in the UK on 22nd February, 1999. It will be available
on CD1, CD2 & MC
The new album, "Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts" will be released in the
UK in March, 1999, on LP, CD & MD.
k Finally!!!! More news! According to NME, it'll be out in Feb and a       single out in Jan.
k Ok, this should be THE release date, Jan 19th. Hope there won't be anymore delays.
k Kula Shaker ( actually Crispian ) appears on the cover of Melody Maker ( April 28th ) and on Total Guitar ( July ). In TG, 6 Kula songs are transcibed. Alonza appears on the cover of Bassist magazine.
Rumours about a single in June were apparently not true. :-(
k There are rumours going around that KS are releasing another single next month in June!!! Hope it's true.
k Sound of Drums debuted on the UK charts at no.3. Yay!!!! Though they deserve better, meaning no.1. And all because of Boyzone, who snatched it from them. They fell to no.17 the next week and at no.31 after that.
k 2 tour dates have to be cancelled because Crispian is suffering from a severe throat infection. Oh dear.

k Kula Shaker are currently on tour in Britain. Their up-coming single, to be released on 20th April, is called 'The Sound Of Drums'.
They just appeared on the April 4th issue of NME. 3 full colour pages of them, including a lovely huge pic of Crispian. ( You can see it in the pics pg ) He explains the Swastika business, why he disappeared in 1997 and talks about the millennium, revolution and stuff.

Glad to see them in the media again.
