Welcome to TyRide's Homepage

This is Ty's Marine Corps section, alright here it is, the Marine Corps rules!!

It all starts on some yellow footprints, confusion rules your life, and you wonder to yourself, .....what the hell have i done? From there on you are about experience thirteen weeks of the most physically, mentally, and morally challenging basic training that the United States government allows. And come that glorious graduation day, you know the honor, pride, and accomplishment to serve with the most prestigous military orginization, the world has ever known.THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS

From there it's on to MCT (Marine Combat Training) or off to SOI (School of Infantry). SOI being the MOS school for all you grunts out there, ohh rah, MCT being for all of us non-infantry Marines, those in support of the infantry. And from here your Marine Corps journey begins, Infantrymen go to thier permanent duty station, be it, Camp Pendelton, Ca ., Camp LeJeune, NC. , MCAGCC, 29 Palms , Ca. , or Hawaii. All non-infantry Marines go to thier MOS and carry-on schools to learn thier job in the United States Marine Corps.

This is myself and my buddy danny here in the barracks.

From Left to right, Me, Danny, Deric, and Bede

As of now, i am a Lance Corporal, stationed at MCAGCC (Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center) in "beautiful" 29 Palms, California. Damn i have never seen so much sand and space in my entire life, what the heck have i done wrong to deserve to be here? -probably nuthin At any rate, i'm here until November, and then its off to the FMF ( Fleet Marine Force ) , hopefully ill be stationed on the east coast from here, i am a 2881/8641, which is a crypto-tech, in laymans terms, i fix the stuff that encodes and decodes messages that are sent form one unit to another, be it digital, analog or both, its fun but can be rather boring at the same time, but it means big bucks once i get out and back into the civilian sector.

Sandstorms that are a normal thing out here.....

IF there is anyone reading this page and is interested in becoming one of the Few, the Proud, the Marines, dial 1-800-MARINES, and see if you can measure up.
