Here i am, against a '80 Z28, nice car, pulled to the line , and smoked 'em, but blew his rear end going down the strip. Was too bad, had a good race going on. This Run:1/4 mi, 15.62@82.31mph. Not bad for a totally stock Camaro
An absolutely beautiful, '69 Camaro SS. It had a 454ci big block, 1 5/8" headers, TH400 with a shift kit. Smoking the tires just before he ran 13.64@103.25mph, might have been better if he had gotten some traction, ( street tires ya know ), but still a nice show he put on.
Not the only non-chevy car at eppping this weekend, nice show, Ferrari Daytona, went against a '92 Ford Cobra, with a supercharger, lost of course but cant remember his time, mid 13's i believe. Cobra shown below, sorry for the Ford showing, shunn me if you must.
A decent Cobra, nicest one i've seen in a while, i believe it was a 460ci , supercharged. Had a nice girlfriend, who got to video tape the entire thing from the track,( shown above in front of the Ferrari ) so he got nice pictures i couldn't, ohh well.
Now here are three(3) nice F-Bodies. MIne of course is one of them, the black '91 RS closest to you, the white one is a '91 Z-28, 350 Tuned Port, Auto, nice car, part of the East Coast Camaro Club, other car ( far right ), a '94 Z-28, yet another nice one, LT-1 350, sweet rides.
Another glamour shot of that '91 Z-28, such a pretty car, female owner, 42,000 miles on it, pretty much babied, nice tires, Goodyear Eagle GS-C's 235/55R16 up front, 265/50R16 in the rear.
sweet picture, a '78 Dodge Ram 150, 440ci Big Block, Blown, nice smoke show, fast ime, 12.63@112.41 mph, then couldn't race because he blew the belt to the blower. Hey, we've all been there once or twice right guys??, Nice truck.
Well here is a '79 Z28, it had a 400ci small block in it, nice car, nice engine, had been running good all day, and I had to run against it in the first round of eliminations!! How fair is that??ohh well.
Here we are, at the line, me inside him outside. His dail-in: 12.00, my dial in: 14.37, my heart was beating soo fast, at this moment, i was very excited.
Here i go, i blew him off the line, he even smoked 'em first, i was having fun for about 200 feet, then i saw this yellow blur go past me, he had 12.106@90.54 mph and i had 15.43@86.83 mph. Kinda upset , but hey, my car is totally stock, i wasn't expecting to win, but still wanted to race.
