The Chemistry Experiment

This page has been created in the interim wherein The Chemistry Experiment are trying to get a proper webpage together, which will be more interesting and probably full of little imformation actually relevant to the band, but of a higher value for your own perusal. So here are some facts, then...

The Chemistry Experiment are currently a four-piece, consisting of:-
Steven- guitars, vocals
Paul- bass
Emily- keyboards, glockenspiel, ranting
Lee- flute, clarinet, backing vox

Currently in the midst of plotting world domination, a much anticipated single entitled 'Agua De Beber EP' will be arriving on the shelves, and of course, immediately off them (no, really) shortly. It contains four songs, which are:-

Please Don't Cry
Disco Song
I Made Her Cry Last Night
Experimental Pushchair

It is released by Short Fuse Records, available on 7" only, limited to 500, and each sleeve has been individually crafted for your pleasure, individual designs and all...

Information #1- The afore-mentioned single is OUT NOW. We sold nearly 100 copies at the recent Tweefest known as the Bowlie weekender (thanks to everyone) alone, including several to members of the pop glitterati attending (*ahem*). You can obtain your own copy by hiding £2 very carefully inside an envelope and flinging it in the direction of:

Emily
42 Seymour Rd
West Bridgford
Notts
NG2 5EF

(note to potential stalkers- I won't be living here for much longer, so don't bother... however, all post will get to me within two days of it arriving at this house... think of it as an over-large PO box...)

It has been said that The Chemistry Experiment are "like the Carpenters playing punk rock on a kazoo", but as there is no resemblance to The Carpenters, they don't play Punk Rock and there are as yet no kazoos in the line-up, this has minimal relevance.

They are currently trying out a drummer who reportedly hasn't listened to new music since 1982 and works out drum patterns from mathematical formuli, so if all goes well there may be a Chemistry Experiment Roadshow coming to a town near you soon (though probably only if you live in a town near the Midlands at the moment... we fear the outside world...)

Information #2-A gig is now firmly sketched into our diaries with thick black magic marker, which spake thusly to our literate minds:

Thursday, June 10th- Leicester Spreadeagle

This is as part of the wondrous Lollapaleicester scheme, oh yes...

You can read some LIES about the band at the point indicated.

The band now has its own website which is full of GIRAFFES
