I'd like to make these sites known they are 3 of the best BSB sites ever and where I get alot of my news: Jello's BSB Home, The Backstreet Boys Connection and, As Long As You Love Them:



DECEMBER 20

* In an interview that the BSB did with Bravo magazine when they were in Germany end of November, Nick reveals that for the first time in his life he has a girlfriend, and that he is very much in love...... He didn't want to tell her name as they have only been together for a couple of weeks now. He met her in Tampa. She is also a singer and Nick expects her to have her breakthrough very soon. He also said that she is blond and that she looks very much like his sister BJ. Then he confirmed that she is NOT a singer in Innosense. Now, I know that there have been sooo many rumours over the years about Nick and girlfriends, but this time it's true. If you know me and my homepage a little, then you know that I NEVER put up rumours, but always true news fact, and this is true, really!!!! (Bravo always has real interviews with artists)

* In the same interview, Nick says that he will not move to Los Angeles with his family. Two months ago he bought his own house in Tampa. The reason he will not move is that it would be to difficult to combine living in LA with being a member of the BSB. However he will often fly to LA to be with his family! Howie added that all of them bought houses in FLorida this year. They planned this for quite some time, but this year they finally managed to do so, as they spent a bit more time in the US than before!

* During Aaron's recent Germany tour beginning of December, his 12 year old sister Leslie made her singing debut!! On stage she sang "Merry Christmas Darling". She was also on stage while Aaron sang "I will be yours". Aaron was on tour with his dad, Leslie, BJ and his grandmother Jean. His mother Jane and sister Angel stayed at home in the US to arrange the moving to LA. Watch my homepage the coming weeks for more details about Aaron's tour and great pictures!!

* The BSB not only one at the Billboard Awards in the US last week, but this weekend they also won the Best Non-British Band award in England's Smash Hits awards! Congratulations boys!!

* On his birthday, Monday December 7, Aaron went to a childrens hospital in Germany (he is currentely on tour in Germany), to hand out toys to sick children, and to give autographs. It was Aaron's own idea to spend his birthday this way, as he said so on German tv.

* According to a German tv report, Aaron will record his new single in the US early next year. The last thing I heard was that his album will be released around February 1999.

* Right now, BSB are feature in the new YM magazine with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon on the cover, in a "Got Milk?" Ad!

* MTV's Ultra Sound: Year in Rock '98 featured a segment on the Backstreet Boys! The clips included other artists like Madonna, Mariah, Jay-Z and Korn talking about the guys and the whole pop phenomenon. Puff Daddy admitted that he thinks the guys have a chance at long-term success and Madonna was even singing "Quit Playing Games"! The show will most likely be rerun plenty this week so check local listings for times! Look for sounds and captures soon! MTV will also have their 100 Most Requested Videos on New Years Eve starting at 1:00pm - you can be sure we'll be seeing the guys more than once!

"Stagehand sues Backstreet Boys MANASSAS, Va. (AP) _ A stagehand filed a $3 million lawsuit against the pop group Backstreet Boys, contending he was injured by a 50-pound cannon that fell on his head. Michael Barrett, 22, filed the lawsuit Tuesday in Prince William County Circuit Court seeking damages from the five-member group for injuries and emotional distress. Gary Exner, another stagehand, was also named as a defendant. Exner could not be reached for comment and band spokeswoman Sonya Muckle did not return a phone message or respond to a faxed list of questions. Barrett, of Alexandria, was working backstage at Nissan Pavilion after a concert July 16. A line suspending the cannon _ a stage prop that fires confetti_ was untied after the show, ``causing it to descend to the stage below at great speed,'' according to the lawsuit. Backstreet Boys released its first hit single, ``Quit Playing Games (With My Heart),'' in 1997. "

NOVEMBER 22

 * BSB is going to be on Oprah!! Looks like the petition paid off. I'm not sure of the date yet but I will keep you posted!!

* The official Backstreet Boys homepage has been restyled! At the moment, the contents are still the same, but it has a completely new and cool "look"! Go check it out, if you haven't already!

* Amanda, AJ's girlfriend and singer in the group Innosense, is currentely on tour in Germany, opening up for DJ Bobo, a German singer. Some years ago, the BSB started their career and huge success in Germany also opening up for DJ Bobo. Because Amanda is on tour and AJ is recording the BSB's third album, they haven't seen each other for 2.5 months now. They will be reunited again November 27, where a.o. the Backstreet Boys and Innosense will perform at the Hand in Hand Charity Concert. In an interview Amanda told the reporter that at first she was very much afraid that after AJ told the world about her, she would be "attacked" by mad BSB fans. But the opposite happened she said. "the fans were all very nice and gave me presents and letters to give to AJ".
