Our Funkadelic
N Sync Concert Pics

On July 16th, 1998, the both of us went together to the 'N Sync concert here in Ontario, Canada at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre. On the way there, we got so lost! We had to ask people in their cars beside us for directions and I swear they thought we were a couple of loons! After a while, we finally got back on track and headed in the right direction. When we got closer to our destination, we started to get really excited and we found that we couldn't sit still for one second.

This is Keri's concert ticket that she scanned!! Hehee!!

Finally we got there around 7:30 and had half an hour before the show was supposed to start. So we went straight in and found our seats. We headed to the Level 100 entrance and asked someone to show us to our seats. We thought that we would be seated a little further back, but we were taken right to the very first section and seated in the 13th row from the stage right in the center. We were totally psyched! So we sat around until 8:00pm and then their opening act came on. We weren't too impressed but everyone else seemed to like them so that was okay. They were off by around 8:30 and then we waited very impatiently until around 9:00. We found it very amusing how everytime the stage crew came on stage, everyone started screaming and freaking out thinking it was one of the guys!!

Finally, the place went dark and there stood the guys all dressed in these long robe thingies and had pointed hoods. Actually, we think they resembled the KKK, but oh well. Hehe! So anyways, they ripped the robes off and then they had on these white suits and were wearing helmets ( ??? ). They were dancing around and stuff and eventually they took off the helmets and ripped off the suits. Fun stuff!! They started dancing around and began singing the first song which we can't remember. But the guys looked so FINE!!! Soon they brought out these Super Soaker water guns and were spraying everyone in the audience with them. It was pretty funny!! They sang their Bee Gees medley a cappella which was really good. We were very impressed that they had their own band, called the "N Sync Band" ( pretty original..lol! ). We thought that they would be using a back up tape or something.

We have to say that Chris was very entertaining. He did a good job at getting the audience going, and at one point he had the audience split into two sections with JC & Lance on one side and Justin & Joey on our side. We had to sing out "Yes, yes, here we go" while the other side had to sing "NSYNC has got the flow" (taken from the song "Here we go"). If we sang louder than the other side we were promised a trip to Justin's Florida home, and if the other side was the loudest, Chris said that JC would undo his fly. Of course at this point Keri was hoping that the other side would win. The rest of the guys were pretty entertaining as well. We just thought that Chris was excellent at it. They all seemed to be having such a good time and amazingly energetic. It may be hard to believe but the guys are even better looking and sounded better in person. Not once did their voices crack nor did they make any mistakes. They also did a little bit of break dancing and Chris and JC did some pretty awesome back flips. Another funny thing was that people kept throwing little stuffed animals on stage and Justin kept catching them right before he got hit by them. He did this around 4 times and then I guess he lost his touch cuz he got smacked right in the head by one!! The stunned look on Justin's face was priceless!! They brought out the Super Soakers quite a few times during the show and one of the times Joey had a little fun just squirting one person in the audience. It was so funny cuz it was just a stream of water pouring on one poor person's head!!

Soon it was close to the end of the show, and the guys sang "Tearin Up My Heart" for their last song. Justin by this time had kindly taken off his shirt and was wearing a tank top ( yum! ). When the song was over, they ran off stage, but then came back and JC had also taken off his top and was wearing a tank. Unfortuntatly we had run out of film because Kristine just HAD to get a few pics of Justin in his tank so we didn't get JC in his. But anyways, he did a few flips across the stage and then they left for good. That sucked.

After the concert was over they were selling souveniers and Kristine tried to buy the last poster, and the guy asked who wanted it, and she said that she did, but some other girl got it ahead of her. Kristine was so frustrated that she said "you bitch", and then said that she had to get out of there before she got too aggresive. When we were walking to the car Keri said that she thought it was so funny when Kristine said "you bitch" and Kristine said "Did I say that out loud?". ROTFL!!!!. By this time Keri's feet were so sore because she wore a pair of high boots so that she could see over the peoples heads. They were about two sizes too big for her, so she wore three pairs of socks so that they would fit better and because the heels were so high, her toes slid on down into the front of the boots and were so sore by the end of the night, that she could hardly walk back to the car. Still, we left the place feeling pretty happy and still excited over seeing the guys. We got ourselves lost once again in downtown Toronto and had to ask some poor guy on the street for directions. Finally, we made it back home and we freaked out some more....hehe...The End.
( don't you just love our story telling?!?! )
