Twisted Sister Discography

Ruff Cutts: Released in 1982, this was produced by Secret Records to shop Twisted Sister to major record labels. Exremely rare! I don't even have one.
Under The Blade: Released in 1982 by Secret Records, and again in 1985 by Atlantic to cash in on the success of Stay Hungry, this is one of Twisted Sister's best albums. Highlights include Destroyer and the title track.

You Can't Stop Rock & Roll: Released in 1983, this album was favorably recieved and paved the way for Twisted Sister's breakthrough in America. This album went gold.

Stay Hungry: Twisted Sister's American breakthrough. Songs like "I Wanna Rock" and We're Not Gonna Take It" filled the airwaves and the accompanying videos made Twisted Sister the darlings of MTV for a couple of years. Highlights include "Horror-Teria" and "The Price", a rare
ballad that showed off Dee's amazing voice. This album went Triple Platinum in the USA and
Sextuple Platinum in Canada!

Come Out & Play: This album isn't nearly as bad as it gets blamed for. It just has the dubious honor of trying to follow the titan that was "Stay Hungry." Though this album went gold, it
was the beginning of the end for Twisted Sister.

Love Is For Suckers: Twisted Sister's swan song. This album is actually the most technically competent of the bunch, but by now, the star that was Twisted Sister had faded and few people heard this one. Extremely hard to find, Dee Snider is selling them on his web site. Check out this forgotten piece of Twisted history.

Big Hits and Nasty Cuts: "Ill timed and ill concieved" is how Dee Snider described this compilation of the "greatest hits" of Twisted Sister. The studio side is ok, but the live side, recorded at the Marquee Club in London, is nothing to recommend. It captures the live atmosphere of Twisted Sister, but the sound quality and acoustics are horrible. Produced by Mark "The Animal" Mendoza.

Live at Hammersmith: This is what Twisted Sister fans were expecting when they listened to the live side of "Big Hits & Nasty Cuts." The sound is good, the crowd is wild, and the band is tight. Recorded right after the release of "Stay Hungry", this album contains live versions of most of Twisted Sister's best songs.
