Fast foward about three years...Paul, Jeff, and Dan were sitting around and thinking about starting a band that DID NOT suck for a change. They started to play some songs and decided they could go somewhere with this band. They picked up a guy named Dennis Nichols on bass, then Esteban and Joseph on Trumpet and sax. The whole time, however they had Mr. Arron Daniels, Jeff's little brother, substitute on bass whenever Dennis couldn't make it and they needed someone. Our first song came about when Jeff had to do a sign language project. He was to make a song and have someone sign while he played the song. The song was called I'm in love with a deaf girl. To tell you the truth, the vocals to that song really sucked hard core. We also got a pretty bad grade too. Later, though, we realized that the song itself was pretty good. Paul later made some better words. Jeff, Paul, Dan, and Dennis played the parts we had and Esteban made the horn line. It sounded great. After that we started to practice a lot. In a couple month we had probably about eight songs. We were ready to play a show.
We got our first show at Zeldas, the club under Fitzgeralds. We had about fifteen people come to our first show. We had alot of fun doing the show. We didn't put on a show because we were not exactly sure how to do it. We just played our music. But to make a long story short, we got two more horns, Jon and Esteban, (Esteban quit, and then decided to rejoin our ranks), Jon on trombone, and Esteban back on trumpet. It went like this for a while, until Jeremy, a friend of pretty much every member of the band, began to hang out and come to practices and shows. Right about this time, conviently, Jeff started to decide the band could use a backup guitarist so he could try a little more experimenting. Well Jeremy knew how to play guitar, sort of, and was asked to join the band. Att first this seemed like a terrible idea, because we couldn't keep on beat with each other, and the whole ordeal was very frustrating. In fact the only promising thing in this situation, was that Jeff and Jeremy had very similar guitar styles. As time went by, we practiced more and more and more and bore it out, and eventually it just snapped. We were whole. We were a band. And we sounded good! Ever since then, we have gone nowhere but up, no matter how hard, and long the travel was, and still is. But we are managing.
And that brings us to now. Now we are in the process of making a CD, getting more shows (We will play anywhere!), and hopefully someday, getting signed, so keep looking to us, and stick with us.
For our upcoming shows, look under shows. Thanx a lot. We love you!P.S. There's a lot of other stuff left out of here (a.k.a. The Goonies, and Chunky P and the Toilet Cloggers...ughh) I just pretty much gave you the skinny of it. If you want to know more, ask us at our shows, and we'll be happy to tell you more than you probably want to know.
