8-18-97
As of today, the Shifters are all back in Gainesville and are ready to get down to work. We will be looking for a warehouse so we can practice hard and long without the law interfering. This increase in practice is sure to make us better and soon you will see us on Motel California. Also, look for us to be playing some fall shows in the Gainesville area.

The Shifters were supposed to play a party at Mike and Erik's apartment on Friday night, September 5. But they didn't because they suck.
9-20-97
The Shifters have had two full and good practices the past two weeks without getting complaints from neighbors. They tightened their older songs and worked on a new song called, "Parade of the Satanic Elves."
11-14-97
The Shifters have been trying to practice but it's hard because it is. The Shifters are working on finishing two new songs, one that sounds like a buddy holly song and another one that Jason wrote. When completed, The Shifters will have a good set list and you can look for them in shows around town.
