I remember it like it was only yesterday. The Warriors were the most exciting team in the league and the up and coming team. They were led by the highest scoring trio in the league. In 1989-90 season the Warriors were led in scoring by the Edison of Basketball, Chris Mullin (25.1 ppg) who would invent shots that always found their way in the hole. The team as a whole went 37-45, but the record had no reflection what so ever on the excitement this team had. This was the first year that the Warriors put together their future, Mitch Richmond had just won the Rookie of the Year Honors by averaging 22 points in his Rookie Season, and added point Guard Tim Hardaway from the University of Texas El Paso with the 14th pick in the draft. Who soon became known as the triumvirate RUN T.M.C.

In the 1990-91 season, the threesome put together 72.5 points per game and led the Warriors to their best regular-season record in nine years at 44-38. Mullin led the way for the Warriors averaging 25.7 points, while Mitch scored 23.9, and Tim adding 22.9, for the Playoff bound Warriors. The team blazed through the first round running over the Mid-West Division winning San Antonio Spurs 3 games to 1. The Track season ended for the team and it's three stars in the next round to the LA Lakers 4 to 1, but it was to be the start of something.
Then it was the Warriors Armagedon
