This was my first Lilith fair.. and hopefully not my last.. I think it is a wonderful concept to have a festival such as this celebrating women in music and women in general.. I drove about 4 hours to go and I went with three of my best girlfriends from high school.. we haven't all been together since 1994. Anyway.. the fair was great!! All the performances were amazing.. I especially liked Fleming and John who I am now huge fans of.. I heard them on one of the smaller stages from far away and had to see who's beautiful voice I was hearing.. anyway.. I bought the CD right after and have been listening to them ever since.. I also really liked Monica's performance and of course Sarah sounded lovely as usual. It sprinkled all day.. going from a light drizzle, to no rain and sunshine coming out.. so it kept it from getting too hot.. and then, when the sun was setting, and the sky had beautiful shades of orange and red in it and as Shawn Colvin was performing, a gorgeous rainbow filled the sky as if it was out just for us.. and it covered the entire meadow from one end to the other.. I got pictures but i had to take one side of the rainbow, then the other. The whole energy of the show changed after that.. you could feel it in the air, everyone was feeling the beauty of the music and the evening.. it was wonderful. I really hope the Lilith fair continues... and if it does I can promise I will go to every one I can!

Wow!! Lilith Fair was AWESOME!!! I loved every minute of it!! The artists were great and the atmosphere was even better. Everyone was so nice and in great spirits. During Shawn Colvin's performance a full rainbow came out center with the stage. It was so beautiful. It was almost like a sign. It sprinkled all day which was nice because it kept it cool. It was a great day and a great concert. Sarah's performance was awesome as usual. Everyone did a great job. I'm sorry it is over, and I wish they were continuing it next year. I had a great time!!
