U2 performed this song on their television debut -- well before they recorded their first album, Boy.  This song was the encore of their performance that night, which featured rough versions of songs which would later appear on Boy, and others which never made it.  

Bono says to the crowd, "It's a Ramones number, it's called Glad To See You Go.  I want everybody back from the back up here, c'mon."
