Two days before the
start of the third leg of the Joshua Tree Tour, U2 are in a New York radio
studio for a direct broadcast interview. The program, dubbed "Trip
Through Your Wires" is broadcast throughout the world. Bono sings
this original country song, named after BB King's guitar, while accompanying
himself on the guitar.
On the show, they joke about becomming a country
and western band called "The Daltons." The Daltons actually opened
a couple of U2 shows -- yes, U2 opened for themselves.

Oh Lucille, come sit you right down with me
Stay tonight. Until the morning sets you
free.
You know our love will last forever,
but will our love, Lucille, last tonight?
Deep as a river, wide as the ocean,
high as a mountain, I climb for thee.
I know our love will last forever,
but will our love, Lucille, last tonight?
