The Band

Pat and Joe both met on a snowboard trip in Winter Park, Colorado. They were rapping together and Joe told Pat that he was planning on moving to L.A. and that he was looking for a roommate.

In March of 1994, Pat and Joe both walked into a night club and Lance was performing. From there on, they became Puzzle Gut.

Now, they all live in an apartment in one of the nastiest sections of Hollywood. They all lived by "No deal, no heat for a year". And they exclaimed "there were many cold nights". The day after they got signed to Trauma records, they turned the heat on. But then they turned it back off. Then they lived by "No release date, no heat". And now with the release of there self-titled debut album, they don't have to worry about cold nights anymore.

The group decided to make a puzzling name: "Puzzle Gut is slang dating from the 1940's. When you get nervous, butterflies in your stomach, full of anxiety and wanting to escape, you've got puzzle gut," explains Lance.
