Did you like touring on the ROAR tour?
LB = It was a great experience and yes, we had a great fucking time.
Also, what if any other bands did you like touring with on the ROAR tour?
LB = All of the bands were great but we got along best with Seven Dust, Sponge, Reverend Horton Heat and a few others.
When will you be starting your tour again and who will you be touring with?
LB, JS, PF = Hope to be touring early '98. With who? Not sure yet.
Why didn't you perform at the Blockbuster concert in July?
LB = We were booked in the show and then some politics pulled us off (we were pissed).
Are Lance and Pat planning on getting there high school diplomas?
LB = As for myself, possibly. But, i've been traveling and touring the U. S. since I was 16 and that experience is a diploma in itself
Do you have any rare recordings, and if so, how can fans get them?
LB = Not yet. It's a little early in our careers. Let's hope some become rare
If you can tour with any band, which band would you tour with?
LB, JS = "Live", Bloodhound Gang, Rage Against The Machine, Fiona Apple, if she performs naked every night.
What are your views on bootlegs and people bootleging your shows?
LB = Bootleging is a strange, negative word. But I think it's O. K. It keeps the word out. It's flattering and if it's legal or not, go for it.
Why did you decide on signing autographes for people after your acts?
LB = If and when we have the time, we do signing. This way, we get feedback from the fans. Plus, we like to give photos out (a lil' somethin' extra from The Gut).
Will there be any new Puzzle Gut merchandise available to the public?
LB = We still have merch. from our last tour. I'm sure we will continue with new merch. in the future.
What was your favorite place to tour and why?
LB = Pheonix (AZ), Vegas, OH (Dayton), Omaha (NE). These states were most of all the biggest response to The Gut, but the Midwest and the Southern states were very receptive and seem to get The Gut.
Will there be a Puzzle Gut fan club?
LB, JS = Yes, but we haven't found the right person to be one of the "heads".
What are some of your musical influences?
LB, JS = Jane's Addiction, Rage Against The Machine. Also some of the earlier bands. The Cars, Cheap Trick.
What do you do in your spare time?
LB = Try to stay healthy and stock up on condoms
What are your plans for 1998?
LB & The Gut = We're hoping to continue with the Puzzle Gut debut release and tour in the begging of the year. We are going to release "The Cow" in January (if all goes well)!
