Mott The Hoople and Friends, '99
Mott the Hoople, friends and relatives CD
This package includes three pages of explanations that go with the songs by an unknown writer. A five page flashback of the beginning and end of Mott the Hoople was written by Dale "Buffin" Griffin. There is quite a bit of written material here.
However, there are only a few new songs and none by the classic Mott lineup or by Ian Hunter. There's "Carribean hate song" by Overend Watts, "Only the roses" by John Fiddler and "Walk the line" by Ray Majors. The rest of the material is mainly from previously released Angel Air CD's and makes a nice compilation of material, as the title says, by friends and relatives. All in all, a great compilation, but this is really only has a few songs for a completist.
